Hi
Has anyone heard of the Life Extension Foundation. My MIL uses all their vitamins and swears by them just wondering if anyone has tried them and what your thoughts are? Apparently they're supposes to have superior ingredients and more potent than your average "vitamin" I was thinking of trying the GABA for anxiety, I've never heard of it before but apparently it's supposed to work like valium, only natural. The web address for them is www.lef.org

Hi Jasmine,
I've not heard of these supplements. Doesn't mean they're bad, just haven't heard of them. I do think there are many companies who say their supplements are the "best". I did note that they want a $75 annual membership fee to get a reduced price on the vitamins they sell. If your mom feels better taking them, that is what counts.

Hopefully someone here has heard of them and will be able to offer some more information on them for you.

I haven't heard of them. But I have heard of taking GABA for anxiety. I started taking the GABA with B6 about 3 weeks ago. Not a significant change yet, but it may not be long enough. I also started taking the CoQ10. I heard it really is good for you. It also helps with sore muscles due to tensing up, which I tend to do a lot, from anxiety. Yoga has helped me more than anything for anxiety! IMHO :)
