Several years ago I participated in a WeightWatchers at Work program and one of the leaders brought this poem to read to us becasue many of us were past the "honeymoon phase" and rapidly falling into a "lose half, gain half" lethargy.

The poem really sparked something in me and got me back on track. (At least until I got pregnant and had to stop attending WW meetings.) Oops! :blush:

Anyway, to this day, I can hear that leader's voie saying to us, "Don't you give up!"

Wow, that's really neat! I found it in a real estate book I was having to study. I thought it was great motivation!

I have that exact poem in a frame that I got from a friend years ago when I was going through some rough times. The words are very true and it is something that to this day I look at when I feel the blahs coming on.

I have recieved so much support here its great and hearing all posts help me out that much more. Thanks for the inspiring poem. My Mom gave me this very poem on a card when I graduated from High School, it made me cry (tears of joy of course)! Reading it here now brought back that special moment. *sniff*
