What is your favorite form of cardio and why? My gym has the Nordic Track Incline. You can walk up to 50% incline! It burns massive calories and keeps me preoccupied because I switch the incline from various intervals.

I've been a member of Curves for about 9 months and also enjoy walking. When the price of gas topped $3.00/gallon, we got more conservative in our driving and made a point of walking our son to school. It's nearly two miles round trip, twice a day. It's a great way to get some exercise and spend some time together, too. :)

Exercise isn't a chore since finding something to do that I enjoy.

Walking is so great! You don't need a gym for it and you don't need to buy equipment to walk.

And what I great way to spend some time with your son.

I get my cardio workout at the health club I belong to. I divide my time between the glider, the bike, and the treadmill. I listen to my i pod I recieved for Christmas to keep me entertained and pumped up .

I also exercise at home to a DVD by Kathy Smith which has cardio, pilates, strength training and yoga for a change away from the gym.

I workout about 3 or 4 x a week and have found it keeps my weight off and I sleep good. ;)

I belong to Curves. I go at least 4 times a week.
But my biggest accomplishment is my walking. I have walked at least a mile (usually 2 miles) every day for the last 4171 days. I don't miss for anything. And living in Michigan, in can make for some interesting walking sometimes. I take my border collie with me each day. He just celebrated his 14th birthday and still loves to walk each day.

I take dance lessons. Clogging is my favorite and is very aerobic. I also take tap, jazz and ballet ( that's hardest - it's hard to fake being graceful :D). I also like to walk when I can, sometimes it's just tooo hot here in the summertime though.

I love to walk! I don't mind the weather changes and actually find a crisp cold night when the stars and moon are at thier brightest, to be my favorite time to hit the pavement.

I love to walk as well -- that's why I joined the walking challenge at work.

I also enjoy roller blading when the weather is nice..

An easy way to keep yourself walking more than you might usually...park a little farther away than you usually would in the parking lot. I just started to do that, and not only is it a little more exercise, but it reduces the amount of stress because you don't have to worry about finding a "good spot."

What a great suggestion, crunchies0313! I've started doing that but didn't really think of the stress part of the equation....
