I have heard that these are rumors. But ya' never know. :band: There is much speculation going on around the Idol forums, but so far I haven't seen any confirmation from reliable sources. I do hope these aren't true. I honestly cannot see Chris doing "A Big Hunk O'Love". Guess we'll find out tomorrow! :band:

If the rumor proves true, I will certainly be "hanging on every note" of Katharine's performances...I looooove those songs! :D I also like the song "Love Me Tender" so if Elliott performs it well, this is among his final chances to "win me over" as a fan! ;)

Go Taylor! :cheerlead Please, please do good with JailHouse Rock. It was one of the few songs I didn't want him to do. While I think he will rock it, it can also come off as cheesy when not sung by the one and only Elvis!

:eek: Both dialidol and zabasearch have Chris as the lowest vote getter last night. How can that be???????? :stomp: Taylor is at the top........still never in the bottom 2 or 3. I also saw an interview with Simon on some news show and he said about 7 or 8 weeks ago, he would have bet that Kellie Pilckler would the the next American Idol but now he sees Chris and Taylor in the finals. Well, NOT according to the voting thus far so that proves there is no real way to determine who AMERICA wants as their Idol.

When I voted last night I was able to vote like 9 times for Katherine. And that was in the first 30 minutes of voting. My daughter was trying to vote for Chris and could never get in. She tried for 2 hours. I hope this isnt a bad sign for Katherine. I can hardly wait for the results tonight. My husband thinks Taylor is the best, so our house votes are split right now.

I had to watch a tape of it this morning.
I really hate that any of them have to go. All 4 are very good in their own style.

I thought Elliott was the best overall. Loved both songs. I see some personality starting to come out. He's found his nitch. And last week I thought he'd be the one leaving. After this performance.............No!

Chris was also very good. He can sing most anything. I just don't like it when he screams.

Taylor, fun first song, and very good vocally on the second. He's very entertaining, and whether Simon likes that or not, apparently America does. I heard the interview with Simon too, Emily. He did say that he expected Chris and Taylor to be the last two! I don't know. Each week is so different. You never know.

Kat, I love her, but this was a tough week for her. I think she might be the one to go tonight. If she does, I think someone will snatch her up real fast. She has a fantastic voice. I did like her first song. It was fun. I thought she did a good job, but I think the others might have done a better one. Esp. Elliott.

I really think that Taylor and Chris totally rocked it this week!!! :band: Kat was too screechy and I'm not too sure about Elliot...he's so sweet and does have a great voice, but I don't think he has the "star power". If it ends up being Chris and Taylor in the final 2...boy....I don't know how I'm gonna vote!

Kathy, zabasearch is usually right from my experience but as long as Taylor has the most votes, I don't care who goes!

Zabasearch constantly changes their predictions. They have changed 3 times today thus far, at least for the times I have checked it. I think the site is totally useless. I think they are changing the numbers around based on rumors about the boots. They just put Kat and Chris back in bottom 2, where earlier today they had changed it to Elliott.

Check the site after the show and if Kat goes, see if they change those bottom 2 around as it currently now shows to make themselves look like they guessed correctly.

For the dialidol site, they have been pretty accurate with their prediction, since they've made some changes to their system. They also explain how they come to their conclusions, though I don't understand a bit of it! :signlol: I don't think they're saying Chris is getting the boot, but that either Kat or Chris will get the boot. With the margin of error for the bottom 2, either Kat or Chris could go.

What happended to Chris last night? He has been my favorite since the beginning of the season...but, he just isn't really shining here lately. I'm very disappointed. His performances last night just did nothing for me at all.

I'm not a fan of Elliot's style, but he really impressed me last night. Right now, I cant really say who I think will win. Its all up for grabs.

I just got done watching last night's show. Elliott did the best with both songs. Sad to think that he will probably go home tonight. I know that Taylor is energetic, but Elliott's voice is just amazing.

These prediction sites bother me because they spoil the fun part of the show. I guess that is why I don't jump on them. I just don't want to know, and I don't trust what they say.

I guess we'll find out shortly who will go home! :D

once again america lets me down. maybe as a ny'er i am an entirely different species from the rest of the country but jeez....how are taylor and katharine still there based on last nite? taylor had one lousy performance and katharine had two!

i'm appalled. Every year one amazing singer gets trounced because this country has no taste. one look at the top twenty will tell you that. i don't know why i keep letting myself be disappointed. this might be it for me. i'll just listen to my ryan adams cd's and skip it next year.

I truly have no understanding of the voting dynamics in this "gigantic" public population, because this is the first time I have watched an American Idol talent contest. But, could it be that perhaps Chris got the axe because...in my opinion, he exuded polish and confidence right out of chute, in contrast to the others who have "progressed and evolved" through the weeks (months!) and due to their growth have captured the voters' hearts? :shrug:

I agree with Carmen..........in the beginning I was positive that the final 2 would be Mandisa and Chris. Maybe because they seemed way above the rest in talent. But over the past few weeks Taylor and even Elliot have won me over. I honestly thought Chris got boring over the past few weeks. He in no way came up to Bo of last year's Idol. So evolving is maybe the key to winning this contest. Well put Carmen!

I WILL NO LONGER WATCH AMERICAN IDOL AGAIN!! I am beyond furious. If Katharine doesn't win...GRRR!! I cant even explain my frustration. In a way I am happy...Chris can start his career earlier, and not have as many constraints from the contract that the winner will, and hey... Fuel is looking for a new lead singer! I am from North Carolina and Chris was one of my favorites. My household has been split the last few weeks in the voting. I have been pulling for Katherine, my daughter for Chris and my husband for Taylor. I thought Chris would be in the final 2 though, guess I was wrong.

Wow! I was as shocked as Chris was. While I thought he would be in the bottom 2, I really didn't think he would be the one leaving last night. It seems every year there is at least one shocker!

Carrie, I've said that many times about some of these reality shows, "I am not watching ever again!" Sometimes it doesn't last, other times it will for a few seasons than I am turning it back on. Thus far, I have been upset each year that my fave did not win, but I end up tuning in anyways. Maybe this will be the year!

LOL!! Simon even said the wrong person went home!! LOL!!! He said there are no longer any favorites. LOL!!! Heres my deal with Taylor. Hes a performer not a singer. If I were to buy his cd...I would be bored...I would hear kareoke... I wouldnt get his performace..his dancing...hes personality. He would not be good as an American Idol in that respect. If he just did concerts...hes got it made. He only appeals to th eolder generations. Katharine can't even get words right to a very famous song....and Elliot...well hes improved. It will be interesting to see who will get the votes.

absolutely crunchies...i'd hire taylor to sing at my wedding in a minute ( vow renewal i mean). i love him.is forty old? but recorded? not so sure.and i appreciate elliots talent but don't love his style of singing...more of a rocker blues funk chick i guessand he's very r&b. i'm not real impressed with katharine. too broadway.

I LOVE Katharine... I love the sound of her voice and she makes it look effortless and easy to me. Taylor entertains me. My DH LOVES him (as my DH aspires to be the goober at the wedding that Simon is always talking about). Elliot has a great voice ~ and has gotten better ~ but I dont know it he has the personality for the job. I am still bummed because Chris had the whole package.

I disagree about Taylor. He is a singer. He has a very soulful voice. But the entertaining is part of his package. Would I buy his CD? Yep. And I love to watch him perform because he is entertaining. That's just icing on the cake. You can see how much he gets into the song and how he loves what he is doing. He is not just singing the song, he is feeling it.

I think each of the final four has their niche. I don't see one that will appeal to everyone. I think that is what keeps us watching this show. We each pick our faves and cheer them on. Unfortunately not all can win. :band:
