I've done this challenge, but I was thinking medicine--prescriptions, pain relief, etc.
I didn't even think of creams and ointments! Until this weekend. I cut my finger and put neosporin on it, but it wasn't closing up as quickly as usual. Then I checked the expiration date--2000! The other tube--1999! No wonder!
I stopped at the store on the way to church yesterday, started with the new stuff and am well on my way to healing.
I guess I need to go through all the creams, ointments and all the other dated stuff I didn't think of the first time!

:hellowave Leslie,
I just completed this challenge. It was amazing the stuff I found that had long ago expired. Hopefully I will not let it get this bad again. I am going to do a monthly check of the medicine cabinet.

Mine was actually in a first aid kit my dd did several years ago. Didn't even think about checking it.

We don't keep any meds, prescription or non, in the medicine cabinet--too warm and too damp. But I do try to keep the stuff sorted through. Nothing more frustrating than finding a cold tablet that expired last year!
