I have great memories of my first car. While in high school I didn't really have my own car but dad let me drive a car on a regular basis when I was a senior in high school since I had an after school job at an advertising agency.

I drove a little yellow Austin American. It was small, squarish and was very very lite. In fact, one day I went out to the parking lot to find my car gone. A bunch of silly guys were laughing...and pointing....

My car was sitting in the school's quad, up on a cement area. They had carried it there. They carried it down too. :bliss:

Now, I drive a Honda Pilot. Its goldish in color. I call it the Golden Google. (I'm a fan of Google...what can I say?) My kids (grown ones) laugh at me because this car is too big for me. I tend to lose the edges on curbs at corners because I can't seem to see over the top of the hood. I might have to trade it in on something smaller.

The first car that I had was an '86 Chevy Nova. It was a blue-silver color. And while I didn't like the car, I greatly appreciated it. :thankyou:


The car I have now is my first car purchase. It's a Honda Civic. I've had it for a few yeas and still love it. I just wish it was a convertible. ;) But it is blue and it has a spoiler on it. She even has a nickname...Blueberry. :jump:

My dream car is an Audi TT. I hope to someday have one. Sigh!

First car was a restored 1957 Chevy, baby blue and white. It was beautiful and the boys were all soooo jealous. That was my senior year of high school.
Now I'm driving a suburban. I like big, but wish they got better gas mileage.
My dream car is a Cadillac Escalade. ;)

My first car was a 64 Ford , named Freckles because of the rust spots that I couldn't afford to have painted.
Today car is a Mazda MPV painted Aggie maroon ( whoop, gig em' ). I like it because it's big enough to carry my DD's walker and wheelchair but has great road feel and I can see over the hood ( I'm kinda short & that's important :D ).
Dream car - one that has a chauffeur included :bliss:

First car and today car- 92 Mercury Sable. I bought it when I was 16 and somehow it is still running (though not very well) today. But, I paid for it up front, got a good price and never had a car payment. I probably will drive it until it falls apart.

This is a true story. When I met my husband years ago in high school, He had a 1970 El Camino that needed an engine, I had a 1971 El Camino that had been wrecked. My car needed the front end and hood section, but the engine was in great shape. We put the cars together and had one. Eventually we had to trade it in for a family car - the biggest car regret I have.
Today I drive a 2004 Beetle convertable, that hubby takes care of for me.
My dream car would be to somehow get our El Camino back!

My first car was a classic black and white '57 Chevy, with no air, and I lived in Louisiana, very hot not to have air.

The car I drive now is 2004 Toyota Highlander, love it. I do like to sit up high and it handles beautifully. It drives like a fine car, but is a suv. I also like to have room to carry large items I might buy. I like this size suv, and the gas mileage is good. It has a very good resale value.

My dream car would be a Porsche Boxster and I also like the Lexus SC. :D

In 1976 I got a '64 Impala. It stalled at every traffic light and stop sign. I used to have to get out, adjust the idle, and be on my way. I ended up keeping one foot on the gas while I had one on the brakes. Still, I was sad when we finally got rid of it. Now I drive a really great low-mileage '88 Toyota Camry. It's so reliable that I can take it out of state with no worries. My Dream car right now would be a Chevy Avalanche, but that won't happen unless I win the Powerball.

My current car is a 2006 Toyota Solara Convertible (pearl white with a tan top, loaded). I love it and can't wait for Spring! It was in the mid 60's last month and I did drop the top and turn up the heat. :p

My dream car... don't know, maybe the Lexus convertible hardtop.

My first car is my car now as I just recently got my license. Even though I am 30. It is a Toyota Matrix and I loooove it. As far as dream car, the new Toyota coming out in Spring looks pretty cool but I will keep my Trinity for now.

My first car was a 1967 Ford Galaxy XL. It was a dark, sparkly blue with a white hard top...not standard colors. Apparantly, it is now considered a muscle car and would be worth about 15,000. I just thought of it as my mom's old car.
My current car is a 2002 Toyota Echo. Not much of a car, but it was what I could afford after my Tacoma was totaled by a hit and run driver right after I had been out of work for 10 months. I had planned on getting rid of it after a year, but it's paid for and gets 40mpg. :rolleyes:

I don't really have a dream car, but I saw a shiny red Viper driving down the freeway one day and I have to say......that car was HOT :D

My current car is a '97 Honda Civic coupe which I bought new. I don't drive a lot so doesn't have many miles on it for its years. Still looks pretty good. Dark green. I like it. Probably with "do it again" next time, but I'd like something more like a hatchback.

Wow! A Plymouth Valiant! Now that is a classic, and I just adore classic cars. They were really pieces of art. If I won Powerball, I would want a mint condition '57 Chevy, or Chrysler....something big, in metalflake blue.

My first car was a black with red pin striped 1983 Ford Escort. My mother crocheted me a black and red blanket to put over my back seat. That car took me thur my first accident (bad winter New york weather). Once my passenger door froze and I had to wrap my scarf around the door handle to keep the door shut. I have many fond memories of this car. I have five children and two of them learned how to drive it and use it till they got a new car. I also passed it on to my nephew who also drove it.

I do remember my first car. My father came home and told me had bought a car for me. He went on the tell me that it was a stick and a station wagon. I pictured a "woody" station wagon. Way not cool, since I was a senior in high school! I went out side and there in the drive way was this cute LITTLE white Ford Escort Stationwagon. I was a stick, but so long as it wasn't a woody wagon, I didn't care. Many good memories in that car.

My present car ... well that's another story. We've had a lot of vehicle issues lately. We were driving two cars for a couple months. Then, the brakes went on the corsica as I was trying to stop to open the garage door. I went thru the garage door and the interior wall of the garage. Then, the same week, our truck wouldn't start. Turned out it's the computer, they were also going to put a muffle on it while it was in the garage. When they put it up on the hoist the frame bent so bad they can't repair it. So ... our current car is a van my parent gave us, my father was feeling bad b/c he sold the truck to us. We are driving a Chevy Gladiatior Van.

My dream car: Any thing that isn't a hand me down, doesn't have rust and isn't a magnet to dog hair. I don't think such a vehicle actually exsists in our price range, but it is a dream isn't it?

Myfirst car was a 1967 VW bug. I bought it is 1969 after I graduated from High School for $800.00 and my payments were $44 a month. It was Savannah Biege and had a ski rack on the back. I am not now or have I ever been a skier but it made finding the car easier in a parking lot.
I now drive a red 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser. My payments on the Cruiser are over $300 a month. My dream car is a BMW 2 seater sports car.

The first car that I called mine was a white 76 Chevy Nova. My husband at the time bought it for me when my daughter had her second birthday. The first car that I bought was '89 Hyundai Excel, all options, off the lot with less than 3 miles on the odometer.

My current is a 2005 GMC Canyon

My dream? Well, there are 3 ... 65 metallic blue and silver ragtop Mustang.....a 67 sapphire blue ragtop Camero....and lastly...a 63 corvette.

(though, somewhere in the back of my mind the practical and sensible spirit is saying...SUV anykind that fits the dog house)

My first car was a 76 Mercury Cougar XR7. It was a deep blue, 2 door. I loved that car! It was very fast. Luckily I never got a speeding ticket. ;) It did have one minor flaw in that it had a very light rear end, which caused it to want to slide in rain and snow. I finally got smart and put some sand bags in the back. Ooohhh...almost forgot, it also had an 8-Track player. :D I actually bought into one of those record clubs so I could stock up on 8-tracks.

My today car is a 2001 Nissan Altima. It is tan and a 4 door. Just the basics, a/c, power locks and windows and a cd player. I love my little car. It's not fancy, but it is nice, great on gas mileage and gets me comfortably around town.

Dream car??? Hmmm... I don't think I have really thought about what my dream car would be. I'm not really sure. I've never been that much into cars. I just want something comfortable, looks nice and is a nice, smooth ride. Guess I should say Lexus or Jaguar, but as I've never driven either one, I don't really know if it's worth the bucks. I did ride in a Jaguar many years ago, it was nice and was very fast, but I don't think I could spend that kind of money on a vehicle.
