Captivating-Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman's Soul

Hi,
I am in the process of reading this new book by John and Stasi Eldridge. I would encourage every woman who has a heart for God and wants to have a better understanding of what God's heart is toward us as women are, to read this book.
It is a tender revelation of how we as little girls started out with the dreams and desires to have our prince come and together be part of a great adventure; to be beautiful and brave women whose lives could change the world.
The world takes a cruel toll on women today and it is easy to lose sight of what we were created to be. I'm finding this book is lifting me up and giving me new hope and inspiration to be the woman I have dreamed of being since I was child.
I also purchased the journal that accompanies this book. It is a guided journal that helps you document your thoughts and insights as you read the book. You don't have to do the journal too, but if you like journaling,they are wonderful together.

This sounds like a lovely inspirational book to read. I know what you mean about women today and how hard it is for them . I think women need all the help they can get these days. It sure isn't like what our mothers dealt with when they were our age and younger.

I definitely will keep this book in mind. I am trying to take more time to read.

If only I would give up some of my computer time. :rolleyes:

Sofina, this book is great. It sure helps to understand how we as women look at life. So many times while reading it, I felt like they were talking to me, I could see myself in this book. I would love to get the one for my dh. This book really touched me and opened my eyes. Thanks for sharing, this book is just what I needed at this time in my life. :smilie6: Carol
