Hi Everyone,

I read my Bible every morning before starting my day. It helps my day go better and keeps me focus on my Heavenly Father throughout my busy day. Sometimes things come up during a particular day and the chapter I read that morning seems to come clear as to why God led me to read it. I love the way God works:)

God bless

I also read the bible everyday. I read the bible on line. And I receive bible verses & God Daily Promises in my e-mail everyday. It is very up lifting!

I give Our Heavenly Father all the Praise, Glory & Honor, in Jesus name eveyday! I also give Our Heavenly Father Thanksgiving for his Lovingkindness, Tender Mercy & Faithfulness & in all things, in Jesus name!

I want to say, that Our Heavenly is always Faithful & always there for us!

Even though at times things in our life may not be going smoothley or the way we think they should. I know that the Heavenly Father is walking with us and will get us through each day. And he always answers our prayers. Sometimes the answers comes quickley & other times we have to wait. We just have to have complete Faith & Trust in Our Heavenly Father through Christ Jesus:signheart

I have the Bible on CD and I love to read along as I listen. Afterwards, I like to study and reflect on what I've read.

I think reading Scripture each day helps me focus and be more productive.

I bought a daily bible a couple years ago that works well in our house. My husband used it last year as well as really liked it. The new one I just bought highlights "memory verses" for each day.

As a busy mom with 2 babies, it is offten hard to get time *alone* for reading. I do end up reading my 2 yr old's children's Bible every day (at her request). ;) I listen to the Bible on BBN Radio www.bbnradio.org They read 3 chapters a day, and have lots of bible studies and sermons, woship music, prayer time, children's programming, Christian book readings, memory verses, etc. It's like having church all day at home. I looove spending time praying and worshiping and studying God's Word, and BBN radio makes it so much "easier" for a busy mom. Plus my 2 yr old LOVES IT! :)

Sadly, no I don't. And I have been under great conviction the past couple of days to start doing it. I need to get into gear and start doing it. Definitely an area for improvement in my life.

Hi--I try to read my Bible every day during the week. Saturdays I usually don't get a chance to read because we are usually away from home, running errands, spending some time together. On Sundays my Bible is with me at church and is read there.
It's absolutely amazing how the Word of God speaks to me when I need it. I've tried those "through the Bible in a year" devotionals and get too bored, so I just let the Lord lead me. Usually I'll begin a book of the Bible and read it through to the end and then "listen" to where I need to read next.
God is good...all the time...All the time...God is good! AMEN??

Hi! This is a great thread. I hope someone will find encouragement in this. I also try reading the bible everyday, and have been committed to this for almost a year now, even though I've been a Christian for a long time now. Does that mean I never miss a day? Absolutely not. I guess I have such a rebellious spirit it took me quite some time to understand that this is what I needed to do to really get closer to God, this is where my relationship and love for Christ has grown. I was so hung up about not feeling like I measured up as a christian because I didn't always agree with others views or enjoy certain bible studies or devotionals, I even felt a strong resistance and resentment when a former pastors wife spoke of getting up and reading her bible every morning like a good christian woman should, then God spoke to my heart and showed me that I did indeed need to be in the word daily. He also let me know that there would be days I would miss and it was okay and that the time of day I chose didn't matter, what mattered was that I was willing to commit. Well, now I look forward to that quite time when I can read the bible and reflect. I use the New Living Life Application Bible and cross reference it with the NIV version and also the New American Standard. I too read one book at time and try and see where God directs me next. I always seems to study passages relevant to my life, and some I can share to help others. God is indeed a good and loving God and if you will open your heart the bible will show you this. I especially love those words written in red! Thank you Lord Jesus!

Hi Ladies,
I do read my Bible everyday. My church started a group that is reading through the whole Bible in a year. We started on January 1st. We are using the NIV One Year Chronological Bible. It's an interesting way to read it. I am enjoying it very much.

I have gotten into the habit of reading the Bible everyday, although a year ago this was not the case.

I find reading the Bible keeps me close to God in thought and word. I also feel so very calm when I read and meditate on the Bible.

Reading the Bilble is not difficult, nor does it take a lot of time. I do say it is well worth the effort. When I forget to read the Bible I miss it, and things just don't go as well in my life.

I started with Psalms, then read the gospel of John, and the other apostles, and I have not been able to put the Bible down since.

Blessings to all

I work full time and have two children. This may sound bad but I keep a Women's study Bible on the back of the commode. I usually do 2-3 aof the small studies along with the Bible versus to go along with them during a day. Take the small times in life.
