Which show did you look forward to watching? Plan your dinner around it? Plan your evening activities so you don't miss it...or set your VCR/DVD or TIVO so you didn't miss it?

I don't know how to set my VCR....so I had to be home every week for Happy Days.....and now I plan on being home every Wednesday night to watch LOST.

I also confess to browsing the internet looking for speculation and spoilers on upcoming episodes.

Hi, I'm Kathy and I'm a Lostie.

How about you? What are your favorite shows: old and new?

There isn't much on television that interests me, but over the summer I got hooked on the series "24". I watch LOST on Wednesdays, but I don't find it as exciting as "24". Except for news and weather, those are the only TV shows I watch.

I used to love watching Little House on the Prairie and the Waltons when my children were small. When I was a child, I liked Father Knows Best, Leave it to Beaver, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, and the Twilight Zone.

In my mind, television programs were more family oriented in the "old days".

My childhood favorite show was the Brady Bunch. I never really liked cartoons, so Brady Bunch and Little House on the Prairie and Cosby were what we were allowed to watch!

But nowadays, my favorite show is Without a Trace. Ok ok, I also love CSI (any of the 3). I just got DVR, so now I can tape them! :D

I don't watch as much TV as I used to, but have been entertained watching Dancing With the Stars lately. I love dancing!

I like Lost, Dancing with the Stars, and 24.

I used to watch TV more, but there not much on that I like. I would rather be on the computer or reading a good book. I do enjoy a good movie when there is on or we rent one.

My fave old TV Show is Dick Van Dyke. I have all the seasons on DVD. Whenever I need to laugh I pop in a DVD (notice that the initials spell DVD :D ) Dh laughs just watching me watch Dick, the show is just soooo funny. Good, clean fun! They didn't have to cuss or talk about sex. To me, there is not a show to compare.

For current shows, we are Survivor addicts. I can't think of a current drama or sitcom that we watch. I do like Law and Order, but since Jerry Orbach passed away, the show is not the same. Although Sam Waterson is still on the show. He is certainly worth watching.

Whoops, forgot, we have gotten hooked on the show Prison Break. It's been on hiatus so I forgot all about it.

My all time favorite is,I Love Lucy! When the six season DVD's come out May 2nd I will have all six season's:yay"I also enjoy watching The Dick Van Dyke Show! Have all the episodes on VHS. I will be starting to get the DVD's for that show soon. Right now I do not watch much TV. There are a couple of programs I do watch. 7th Heaven & Dancing With The Stars. Sad to say after this season 7th Heaven has ended it's regular season:(This is their tenth season. But I will be able to see reruns of this program every week night on abc family channel. Oh! I forgot one more show. M*A*S*H.

I love Dancing With The Stars and try not to miss it. I'm also enjoying Skating With Celebraties. I love to watch ice skating and gymnastics - can't do either!

The Partridge Family (I was, litterally, in love in Keith.. Not David Cassidy...)

Currently, I don't watch too many shows, though I often get caught up in CSI, when DH is watching. I also enjoy watching The Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, That 70's Show and Charmed with DD. I enjoy watching "Myth Busters" with DS.

When I was a kid, we loved the Partridge Family. It was a stupid show, but my father thought it was cute that I had a thing for David Cassidy, so he would stop everything and watch the show with me. I think that is why I remember it most.

Now, I had to admit I am an American Idol and Survivor fan. I am not home either night, but my very wonderful husband tapes them and waits to watch them with me.

When I was a kid I loved Father Knows Best and Leave it to Beaver. Also the Man from Uncle :)

When my kiddos were growing up, Thursday night was pizza and Cosby Show night ...

I don't watch a lot of tv these days, but I sure hate to miss Sunday nights with Desperate Housewives (tho I think it was better last year) and Grey's Anatomy. My favorite has to be Lost.......

I absolutely must catch Gilmore Girls every week. I also like Desperate Housewives and Everybody Hates Chris, and I must say that 24 is reeling me in. I always watch American Idol, although it is because of the "fascination of the abomination," as Conrad would say. Oh, and every chance I get, I watch Little House on the Prairie. And Fraggle Rock!
Back in my youth, (hehe, cuz 18 is sooo old ;) ) I frequently watched Wishbone, Arthur, Dr. Quinn, Boy Meets World and X-Files.

I enjoy Trauma: Life in the ER, Dirty Jobs, some of the "Made" shows on MTV, I love Lucy, King of the Hill, Rosanne, and some of the shows that Showtime runs....
As far as old shows I would have to say "The Wonder Years"..At the time it was on I was around Winnie and Kevins age and could really relate to the issues they had...

When at home (currently traveling for work), I try not too miss Dr. Phil and Oprah (okay, that's afternoon TV) and I also love Amazing Race :jet: and CSI.

Some of the shows I used to really like are Friends and Seinfeld.

Right now since I work at night, I spend too much time in my hotel room and watch way too much TV. Interestingly enough I just started watching American Idol, which I never watched at home...in America :hmm:

I grew up in front of the television, so I'd have to say any ABC sitcom was my favorite, since that was all we could pick up with the rabbit ears. :p

In recent years, most definitely SEINFELD. When my husband and I were dating, I would NOT go out on Thursday nights, nor could he come to my place. Thursday at 9 was MY time with Jerry and the gang.

Now, my fav's are Three and a half Men and House. Not much else interests me. I TiVo Everybody Love's Raymond and That 70's show, plus all the girly sitcoms on Oxygen.

I'm also a fan of the original CSI series, Law and Order - Criminal Intent and Numbers.

Old favorites: Square Pegs (anyone else remember that one?), Miami Vice, Hunter, and Coach.

I had a different favorite every season, but "Emergency" and "the Beverly Hillbillies" are the only shows I have bought. I like to watch "Andy Griffith" reruns.

Current?? I watch a lot of Animal Planet, so it's shows like "Animal Precinct" "Animal Cops Miami or Detroit or Houston or San Fransisco". "NCIS" with Mark Harmon. I watched the family edition of "Amazing Race". And the reruns of "Everyone Loves Raymond" which I never watched when it was still on network TV.

Favorite past time show would have to be Designing Women. I adore Annie Potts. Although I will admit I miss when the networks used to have a night set aside each week for a movie. I miss that. All of the bad words and icky scenes were cut out so that you could actually have it on the screen before the kids went to bed!
Desperate Housewives is my current favorite. I am a junkie. :queen: Guilty. I'm a cross between Susan and Lynette. :o

I loved Mork and Mindy too. Also does anyone remember Bosom Buddies? Where the guys dressed like women so they could live in a women's building? It was hilarious. I don't think it would be accepted as funny now a days though.

Now I watch Reba and Law and Order.
