What do you like to snack on during the day that is healthy? One of my favorites is string cheese. (Yes, I'm a cheese lover. :D) I also love yogart. My favorite one is Key Lime Pie flavored.

What are some of your favorite snacks?

Freshly popped popcorn. On the top of the stove, made the old fashioned way.

Quality canola oil, I've become very good at using a minimal amount of oil, withoug scorching.

I figure it's instead of some bread, and it has fiber. :)

I would guess that my favorite snack is not really a snack: I've just discovered the wonderful taste of mint-flavored Green Tea. When I'm hungry, I just heat up a cup and enjoy it.

I also like yogurt: there's a new kid on the block where I am (in Canada), and it's actually chocolate flavored... and it's fat-free and sweetened with Splenda :D

I really love to dip a sliced up banana into a couple of teaspoonfuls of peanut butter. It's a good cure for my sweet tooth, and healthier than candy.

I buy lowfat cheeses, slice them ahead of time and place them in indiv. baggies, that way, they are there when I want a snack and it's simple & easy

One of my favorite has to be Gala apples. I just love the sweet, tart cripsness and I actually lived on these during the last 2 pregnancies of my kids (eons ago). Also, on the yogurt theme, Yoplait Light White Chocolate Strawberry just can NOT be beat for divine flavor--yum! :D

I love bananas with a bit of Nutella on it. The Nutella is not so healthy, but I do eat bananas alone on occasion. Also baby carrots and ranch are good. I have been getting into celery lately too. String cheese is a big one as well, just ask my roommate from this year or last.

Well I am also a yogurt fan, BUT I found a new favorite. I used to be c hip fan, but I recently started slicing cucumbers, and putting 1 tbs of Lite Italian Dressing on it and YUM!! I still get my crunch that I wanted but with less that 35 calories total!

One of my favorite healthy snacks is homemade diet cherry limeade: diet sprite, juice of 1/2 lime, squeezed then cut in wedges for presentation, add a few marashino cherries (I like the kind with the stems) and a tsp. of juice from the cherries. Yum! and no so much calories!

Right now I'm into Yoplait light yogurt (100 calories/serving) with fruit mixed in. My current favorite is the cherry flavor with thawed and drained frozen cherries. It's soooo good, and it really does feel like dessert! To make it even better, fold in a couple of tablespoons of fat-free Cool Whip and freeze for a little while, and it's like ice cream! YUM.

Favorite snack food is a banana with a tsp of peanut butter. It satisfies and energizes me.

I happen to be a peanut butter addict and have loved it since I was a child. I've tried other nut butters and they are all great! ;)

I love fruits anyway that I can get them. I also like to munch on snap peas. I usually put sliced apples with non-fat yogurt with a little cinnamon and sweetener. It makes for a wonderful meal.

my Favorites snacks are:

Garlic or Roasted Red Pepper Hummus with homemade whole wheat Pita chips.
-->cut the pita into wedges and bake til crispy sprinkle with sea salt and garlic powder

Yogurt and berry parfaits with homemade granola
-->layer vanilla yogurt with mixed berries and then top with granola and enjoy. There are many fruit combos you can do... Try flavored yogurs with different fruits.. I like to use frozen fruits for more juice!

Apples (especially the Pink Lady apples) and bananas dipped in a chocolate peanut butter sauce.
-->melt 1 tbsp dark semi sweet chocolate chips with 1 tbsp natural peanut butter in the microwave until smooth. This sauce is great over ice cream too... it hardens like the magic shell stuff when it hits the cold...

Fresh chopped Veggies (crudite veggies) dipped in a savory cottage/riccota cheese dip.
--> mix 1/4 cup cottage and 1/4 cup Riccota (both fat free) add garlic, salt and pepper and blend til smooth. I also like to put 1 tsp. roasted red pepper Pesto in the cheeses. Yummo!

Im sure there are more... I love food! But these are my very bestest favorites!!!

Pink Lady or Gala apples. (I used to work in the produce dept, our Galas came from the Australia.)

Vanilla Custard Yogurt or Cherry or Orange Regular.

Caramel Rice Cakes.

I never really thought of any of these as healthy snacks, just things I love to eat. I actually checked this thread out for good ideas for me.
