I have been having a lot of trouble with my skin breaking out lately. I can't find a product that works well for me.
Do anyone have a product that works well and they love?

I liked the Mary Kay Blemish Control cream. Have not needed any for a long time. My son went to the Dermologica just before going to the Dermatologist, the dermologica helped some.
Do they still make Oxy - 5 and Oxy -10? They had those when I was younger and were great.

I like the Clinique line to prevent breakouts. They also have a number of oil free moisutrizers that work well for me when I need them.

Philosophy's On A Clear Day works great. I had one of those horrible ingrown pimples that hurt so badly and On A Clear day got rid of it in 2 days.

I use emu oil. I know, I know.... no one wants to put oil on your face. The difference is in the oil. Emu oil penetrates several layers of skin and is known for it's antibiotic properties. Laboratory studies have proven that Emu oil contains all-natural anti-inflammatory properties. I can put it on my face and in less then 2 min. you can not tell I put it there! I have rosacea and my two year old niece has exzema. We both love emu oil!!

I have also heard of this, too. I have post-imflammatory marks from my pimples. :( I have a hard time getting rid of them! I tend to only get them on my chin. I was reading online last night at acne.org the emu oil works good.
I've been using Phisoderm for my face in the morning and night. I leave it on for about a minute before washing it off. It leaves my face realllllly smooth. It has salicylic acid so it helps with clearing and preventing. I haven't had any new breakouts since I started using this and leaving it on my face for a minute or so. Plus, I've been putting A LOT of benz peroxide on my face at night. Make sure you are drinking LOTS of water. I've also found that cutting out fried foods (it's been hard to part ways with my french fries!). And be sure to take a multivitamin.
I need to get me some of the emu oil though! I also want to try Philosophy's, too.

Clinique Acne Solutions spot healing gel. I am never without a little bottle of this at hand. In my purse, in both bathrooms, in my travel kit. At the first sign, a little dab and most times it's gone by the next day.

Is this the thing that's in a jar? I saw it tonight at Sephora, but wasn't sure if it was the thing in the jar. They also had it in a jar, but it was On A Clear Day H2O. I don't think the girl that worked there knew too much about it!

Kate.... If you go to nordstorm.com they will show you what it looks like. Mine is in a bottle and it is a serum. It cost $30.00 for a 1 oz bottle and it should be in a blue bottle. Hope that helps!!
Ok! I know exactly what you are talking about. Have you used any other acne products by them before, and do they work? I saw that they had an acne kit for $47. When I added up how much it would cost to buy the kit separately, it was a HUGE difference. I didn't know if it would be worth it to buy the kit.

No I have not. My skin has always been pretty clear. After my hyster i had some bad breakouts and it worked great. All of their products are so wonderful and gentle on my skin. Never once did any of their products cause any kind of break out. Diffently give it a try, it so worth the money. Your skin will feel like silk and you will never want to use another companies product on your skin again.
Well, I'm going to go out and buy the kit then to try and see what happens. I've been to the derm and I finally gave up. I get breakouts constantly on my chin. :( Antibiotics haven't worked and whatever else has been prescribed to me over the years. I had good results with glycolic acid, but then I think my skin grew use to it. So I'll try this and see! Thanks for the info and tips! :D

I use Proactiv system. It works better than anything else I've tried (including Clinique).
Avon has a great new line for adult acne called "True Porefection" which includes a daily clay cleanser, a toner & a clearing lotion. They also have a weekly mask in the same line. I have found they work nicely. I have also heard that Oil of Olay has a new Total Effects anti-blemish/anti-aging lotion in one. Clinique has excellent products for adult acne as well. :woohoo:

Mori... we are so alike!! I just finished a bottle of Olay's Total effects anti blemish/anti aging.... my skin was so soft I loved it. But I did order some Avon True Porefection and jsut started using that. I think I will end up sticking with Olay only cause it also has the anti-aging aspect.
I've always finished day 2 of the Philosophy Acne Kit and have to say: Love it! Well, so far I love it. I do not get oily anymore. My has been so soft and my post-inflammatory zits are clearing up. On top of that, no more zits...yet. ;) We'll see if the magic keeps working.

I am so glad your loving it....so far!!! I would have hated to lead you in the wrong direction, it's not like we are talking drug store prices. If you get a chance try their other stuff, it is all great (I have so much).
I bought it at Sephora and they will allow me to return whenever for whatever reason! But I honestly didn't think it was that much. I've paid a lot more for skin care stuff. But thanks for the recommendation. Let's hope it continues to work.
Another thing that helps with acne prone skin & breakouts believe it or not is... Aloe Vera Gel, but not the ones in large clear bottles used for sunburned skin. A good one which is a pure form is "ALOEX" Aloe Vera Gel & comes in an opaque tube. Aloe has antibacterial & healing properties & is very good for acne. It minimizes redness, soothes irritated skin & supposedly helps with acne scars as well. I used it for a while & found it to be excellent. Smooth a layer over face at night. If you're staying home you can also use it in the day, but if you're going out I wouldn't recommend it because it's too glossy looking. They sell it at pharmacies & Wallmart as well for about $6.00 for a small tube & $10.00 for the larger one. It's also excellent to have as a first aid gel for cuts, scrapes, burns, insect bites etc. I highly recomend it as a great product. :yahooo:
