If you are shopping online, be sure to do a search using the phrase "promotion discounts", and you will find you way to a list of codes to get free shipping or maybe 10% of your order. The websites list many different vendors... try it out!

I shop online - actually like it better than going to a mall or store. I didn't know about that possibility. I'll be sure try it next time. Thanks for the tip ;)

I also would rather shop online than at the mall.
That is a really good tip. After the holidays I could stand to save a little $$.
Thanks

And remember if any of you are military or retired...ask if they give a military discount. You will be amazed that most all places will give a discount but only if you ask. We have been amazed!!!!
I've found that shopping on E-bay is great & you can find almost anything at half the price you would in the stores! :yahooo:

I have been a member of ebay since 1999 and have been happy with them until recently. I now find sellers are shipping their products from warehouses and I have received items crushed in packaging during shipment or item is not as described. Most sellers did a "one on one" style of business back then and you "knew" what to expect. Now days it's the almight dollar that counts and not service that counts.

Colleen, I certainly agree with you. At the very start of Ebay, it was such fun because you were pretty much dealing one on one with "real people". Now it seems most sellers have a business and sell at retail prices. That certainly takes the fun out of it for me. Are there other auction sites that you have tried?
