I've got this left eye twitch that really drives me crazy. :grr:

I've had it off and on for a while now. I've asked the eye doctor and they said most likely is due to stress. It's only my left eye and it's getting worse. I use a microscope at work but this problem started before I got this job. I beginning to wonder if when they removed my wisdom teeth on the left side maybe touch a nerve or something.

I was wondering if any else has had this problem and how you deal with it. If there is anything I can do to help make it stop. Any advice would be great!

My husband used to have an eye twitch a few years ago. His doctor sent him for a CAT scan, but nothing was found. He was then sent to a manualist (DO) for some kind of head massage. It improved greatly, but when he went back for a second treatment his head was massaged a different way and the twitch came back (so he never returned to the doctor). It eventually went away, don't know why

It's interesting that you mentioned the dentist. My husband's eye twitch started after spending four hours in a dentist chair one day. His doctor did feel like maybe that could have been the culprit (nerve damage?) since the CAT scan was okay.

When my eye twitches, it's either due to stress or lack of sleep. And it seems to take a while for it to go away.

Good luck with it. I hope you find some kind of answer! It is annoying!

I agree with Kate. In the past when I would get eye twiching it was during times of mental stress or physical stress.

Try to slow things down a little. Maybe that will help.

If I get an eye twitch, it's at times when I'm very tired and haven't been able to get much sleep and also when I'm stressed at the same time.
