Anyone watching Survior this season? I am, but am having a really hard time learning the names and picking a fave. In years past I've usually picked out a few faves and know most of the names. So what is different this year? Are they showing fewer people on camera? Do they have too many people? Did the initial 4 tribes kind of mess things up?

Geesh, I didn't remember much about JP when he got voted off last week!

What's your thoughts on the new season of Survivor?

We are faithful Survivor watchers at our house.

The first few seasons we knew everyones name, picked out our favorites immediately. Lately the show is just not the same.

It seems that the show, shows more of the creation of the alliances than the tribe members. It has been hard to learn names and people anymore.

We really like to watch it for the challenges and to see how 'city' people are surviving in the jungle.

Me personnally I would not survive due to no food (I do not eat seafood of any kind) and no electricty, etc. DH and DS on the other hand would love nothing more than to be on a deserted island for 39 days, having to eat seafood, make their own fire, home, etc.

I'm waiting but I don't remember their names either. Seems the week they get voted out they get more face time on camera with more confessionals....

And then "The tribe has spoken".

Maybe when they get down to one tribe we can learn more about them.

My favorites (I think) is the guy that found the idol. He seems low-key but smart.

I haven't picked a favorite yet. So far, nobody is really standing out to me yet. I liked Rupert almost immediately. We'll see. Its still a bit early yet.

I'm with Kathy I like Yul. I will say that Survivor needs to spice things up, cause it seems to be getting old, and so do the challenges. I still watch though!

I totally agree. I had a hard time getting into Survivor this season but now that the end is near I have found my favorite. I think Ozzy is going to win. I can't wait to get rid of Adam. I think the finalists will be Ozzy and Yul. What do you think?

We were just saying during the last episode that it would probably be Ozzy or Yul to go to the final two.

Hard to say which one will be the ultimate survivor.

I like Yul, but he has fallen off the last few weeks for me. I don't care for Ozzy, but he is fab in the challenges and I don't think he has made many enemies. If it comes down to Yul and Ozzy, or Ozzy and anyone, I think Ozzy will get the votes.

Oh yeah, Adumb needs to go!!!! He really gets on my nerves! I was happy to see Ms Teeth go last week. How does one keep their teeth so white while rolling around in the mud? ;)

I had wanted Ozzy to win.....Between Yul and Ozzy in a true "stranded on an Island" situtaion I believe I would want to have Ozzy at my side. He is strong, good at gathering food, making fire, and can figure out how to do new things quickly...That spells survivor to me. However it is a game and Yul won for his strategies....but if I were on an island dont know if his strategies would keep me warm or my belly full.....

Yay! I am happy that Yul won! While Ozzy was strong in challenges, I don't think he did any strategy; which is a part of the game. He was just banking on winning immunity. Survivor is more than just winning challenges.

I will say that both deserved to win, so even if Ozzy did pull out the win, it would've been deserved, even if I thought that Yul played the more complete game. Yul was a close second to Ozzy in challenges and I am sure he would keep my belly full and warm if the need arose. ;)

Next season sounds interesting. I like that they are trying to change the game. It makes it more interesting and the players can't play based on what they know is coming.

This has been the first time in quite a while that I agreed 100% with the final two...I say two because I really dont think Becky deserved to be at the finale. I do think she just rode along with Yul and did not go out on a limb for anything. I dont think playing safe should be the way to win.
