When I have some down time and want to just relax for a while, I sneak over to the Pogo games website to play solitaire.
Have you found Pogo games? http://www.pogo.com
My favorite game: Rainy Day Solitaire!

I've never played any games on the computer. I'm afraid to try...I might find another addiction.

Do Pogo games run well on Macs? I have a hard time finding online games that run well on a Mac. If it does, I think I will check them out.

Wow..I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who usually has a pogo screen open in the background. I love to play Majong. Also like rainyday solitaire and recently learned to play Texas Holdem poker, since it was on the challenge board last week. I was lost at first, but then figured it out and did pretty good. My husband will watch Texas Holdem tournaments on TV, but I have trouble getting into them. I might enjoy them more now. :yahooo:

I'm a club pogo member also. I prefer the games that do not require to much thinking!!! I am now addicted to Texas Hold'em, and usually get on to play that only, after my badges of course!
PS This weeks badges are no fun. The game I hate most Penguin Blocks is on there!!!

Sure, Pogo works well on my mac. ;)
Yep, I'm in Club Pogo. I like most of the games but there are some that leave me frustrated. I avoid them! :hide:
Ok, I play Pogo, too. :) I like Tri-Peaks Soiltare and World Class Soiltare. I don't get to play very often now though.

I'm thinking we need to possibly use this thread as a way to hook up with each other on the club challenge weeks when we need a friend to play those pair games. It is something that I dread...having to walk into a room, sit at a table and wait for someone to join me...and then hope I can win sometimes!
With a club pal we could trade off winning. ;)

Pogo challenges next week look interesting. They have the new Wonderland Memories for one, win 3 games of checkers *in a row* next week. We might need to help each other with that one.
Slingo? I haven't heard of that. I'll have to take a look.

Oh yes - good to hear others like pogo to wind down. I love the old-fashioned game of hearts - have made some nice friends there while playing. I also like canasta. If anyone from here likes these games, let me know and perhaps we'll be in the same room sometime.

Anyone know how to play Euchre? I have one (1 !!) badge left in my 2004 badge book and its winning 5 rated Euchre games. Eeks...but I don't know how to play very well and certainly have no hope of winning 5 rated games.
Anyone know how to play that can help me so that sometime this coming week can help me to earn this last badge for the 2004 book?

Ok Ladies, am I the only one here that has no idea what 'Pogo' is? I have gathered thats its an online game site? I have played free games at MSN Game Zone. Does that count? Is there a charge for POGO? I do have to fight my DH for computer time just to visit GGG. He's now into Online Free Poker. Before that, he was hooked on Everquest. Its always something.

Spider Solitaire (on most computers under Games) is a great challenge and a nice break from work. I do two suits (medium difficulty) and find it much more fun than regular solitaire now that I'm hooked.
Bejeweled 2 (play online at Popcap Games (http://www.popcap.com/gamepopup.php?theGame=bejeweled2) (sometimes called Diamond Mine)) is so much fun. This updated version is great and I have it on my Pocket PC so I can play it anywhere.
I'm trying to learn Sudoku, but can't get into that yet.

I enjoy pogo games also. Gamebrew is also a great game site. I also enjoy playing Maj JAh. ( not sure how it's spelled.)
