Hey Everyone! I recently got the book "Your Best Life Now" Even though I'm only on chapter 6, this book has been quite a blessing to me. Has anyone read this book and if so, what are your thoughts on it, and how has it helped you?

I read his book and really enjoyed it...I found the advice to be very practical to apply to your life...I just hate that after Iread it is when they came out with all the journals and such...

A friend of mine gave me the journal to read first. I only got the the 2nd or 3rd page and knew I had to get the book. Didn't you say that you like Joyce Meyer as a author? Next week Joel Osteen will be on her show. I'm really excited about that. I love Joyce Meyer and have several of her books and tapes. What I really enjoy is my quiet time, watching her on TV. What a blessing she is!

I've read it and loved it! I'm a big fan of Joel, I try and watch him every wk. I also have read a few book of Joyce Meyer and love her too. Anything that I can get to help make my life positive. I came from a very abusive home, so I have alot of issues. I try to read alot of good positive books.

Love Rainbows, I'm sorry to hear of your abusive home environment. I too came from one, but oddly enough when I was living at home with my parents it seemed normal at the time. This week on Joyce Meyer's television program she has on Joel Osteen - all week! Tomorrow his wife will be on also. I just wish I would have started watching him sooner than I did.

I have the book and journal but haven't started it yet. I keep telling myself to just start it - need to get off my butt and do it!

Kim,
Once you start the book, you won't want to put it down! After I read mine, I come away inspired and 'built up'. Take the plunge!

Hi, I've got the book too and I love it! It is so positive and has been such a blessing to me! My friend at work gave it to me while my husband and I were separated. I was sooooo unhappy and sad because my marriage was failing. He even had another woman he wanted to be with! After reading this book, I sorta got "me" together. I was so focused on what my husband was doing, but focused on the Lord and getting me okay!
Lo and behold, my husband noticed the "new and together me" and now we are back together!
That in itself is a miracle but marriage can be hard work sometimes, and this book helps me with that too!!

Lavender Moose, What a great testmony!! In all the years of reading Christian books, I think this one is the best I've ever read. Right now I'm about 1/2 way through it, and when I'm done I'm going to read it again. Joes Osteen certainly has a gift for building people up.
God Bless,
Lynn
