I am in a sticky situation, I work in a small financial institution. I love my job, I enjoy working with the members. I work with a guy I have no respect for, he has been gone the last couple of days. We are getting ready for our examiner to come, which doesnt really bother me. I chalk it up to learning, if there is something that needs corrected then tell me, I want to do it right. If they can offer pointers that will make it easier, I appreciate all the help that I can get in doing my job. What is bothering me now is that I have seen where he has put a report in the annual meeting minutes that was not available to the members that should have been. Its like he is trying to pass it off as it was. I have also seen where he wrote on a delinquent list that a payment was made that wasnt made.I can't believe that he thinks he can do this and no one notice. I have noticed and I have brought it to the attentions of some of the board members. This guy is really messing up, he is looking to get fired I guess. He is past retirement, he can leave any time he wants. I don't understand what he is up to. I have made the board aware of other indiscretions and he has lied his way out of them. I don't know what to do. Trust that the board will do what is right or go above their heads. There are some more things that I havent mentioned. I just know it all makes me a nervous wreck. I don't like knowing some of this stuff. Carol

Sounds like you have done what you could, you reported what you found out to those who need to know.

I would have done the same thing.

While I know it's hard knowing things like that, I don't know what else you can do.

You've done everything you can it's up to others to do what they must.

I'd suggest also making sure you have documented incidents with time/date along with the indescretions so that with a body of evidence he can't lie himself out of it. Or if you decide to go above the board, you will have information and details.

The board member that is in charge of getting some things done came in today, and he told me the same thing. To document everything that I could. That having facts was best thing. I have started writing things down in a desk calendar that is mine that I keep with me. I hope that this saga ends soon. I can't handle all this. Honesty is always the best policy. Thanks for the tips. Carol
