Dancing With the Stars

The new season starts today. Is anyone else going to watch? I am, really enjoyed watching this one. It's great to watch as the stars progress in their dancing skills. My only complaint is that the first hour is up against Prison Break. :stomp: Guess I need to go figure out the DVR. :D

Just watched the first episode of "Dancing with the Stars"- it was good. I liked a few of them- Laila Ali, Ian Zering, and Clyde Drexler were interesting. I like seeing them come from nervous nellies to confident dancers. Anyone else watch?

I love this show & look forward to each new season.
I was impressed with Heather - she has guts!
Joey and Apolo were fun to watch.
I don't have a favorite yet. I love seeing the improvement in all the satrs from week to week

Apollo caught my eye. Cheryl as always is great!. Billy Ray.... needs some work! :eek:

I thought it was a good show! Most did well for the first time, but definetly need some improvement. ;) I liked Ian and Apollo. I was kind of surprised that I liked Apollo. Cliff...errr...John R, did well with only two weeks to practice. Billy Ray and Heather need to go. Not sure how long I can watch them. Billy Ray was like watching a wooden puppet and Heather was a sour puss. Oh yeah, almost forgot, the Miss America gal was pretty bad too. She didn't seem to have much rhythm. Just my opinion of course. :D

P.S. I did get the DVR to work all on my own! :yay"

I thought that the dances were pretty good last night. Billy Ray was soooo much better. Paulina was about the same - I didn't see much improvement. I wasn't surprised that she was first to go.

Well, Shandy got sent home - I thought that she was better than Clyde this week. He hasn't really improved much.
I still don't have a favorite yet this year.

I missed both shows this week! :stomp: I am not surprised to hear that Shandi went home. I do not think she has gathered the fan base, just like the beauty queen from last year. It is not only about the dancing, but about the fan base. Just like Idol.

Clyde got sent home this week. I think that Billy Ray and John will go soon too.
Apolo and Julianne were wonderful this week - wow!!

Heather went last week and John tonight. I think that probably Billy Ray should be next.
I haven't picked my favorite yet. I like most of them Joey is fun to watch.:)

now that a couple of weeks have gone by, who do you all think is going to win? i had thought that heather mills mccartney had a good chance, but she got voted off last week! i'm not sure who i think will win now.

It's down to Ian, Joey, Apolo and Laila now. I think that Ian is the weakest dancer, though he is trying hard. I'm not sure who will win - I like them all. I am leaning a bit towards Apolo. :)

Any one planning on watching tonight? I love all 3 couples! I do think it would be cool to see Laila win. But then a part of me loves Joey, too. I can't wait to see them dance tonight.

I like all three too - tonight should ge awesome. Last week was great. I can't decide which one I'd like to see win. I really like them all but have a soft spot for Apolo. Joey is very entertaining too. Laila is good, but IMO, the guys are better... well so far.

Tough one!! I really like all 3 couples, so I will be happy with whoever wins. I am sort of hoping Apollo wins, but not sure why. Joey and Laila are awesome too! I dunno! haha

Are we really down to the last week? Where did the time go? At this point, I think all have a chance to take home the ugly trophy. :signlol: Ian is probably the underdog, but he does have a great partner. I am thinking that it is most likely between Apollo and Laila. Although I must admit I don't think that Laila is all that when it comes to dancing. She does well, but think she was overpraised by the judges. All are deserving to be there at this point in the competition.

I would have been ok with any of the final three winning. But, I'm pleased that Apolo won - he's been my favorite for awhile :)

I'm okie with an apolo win but my favorite was Joey.

I have to admit I was never actually a fan of this show. However, I watched a full episode a little while back and it got me hooked. I really thought the dancers would be terrible but many of them are actually kind of good.
