I'm watching the news about the Virginia Tech Massacre, and I just can't seem to wrap my mind around it. I live in the center of a University town now, and to think this could happen...I mean, I guess it can happen anywhere, but I'm in shock. How are other people feeling?

People in this part of the world are in total disbelief, and keep asking me "Why?"
I hope everyone out here and their families haven't been directly touched by this horror.

My prayers go out to those touched by this tragedy. We have an investigation going on right now of threats going on at a local high school all week. Unfortunately it is also the anniversary of Columbine.

It certainly is a tragedy, but seeing the way the world is now it is not a surprise to me. Mankind is definitely on the decline.

"Humanity," and I use those quotes intentionally, has been on the decline for a long, long, time. Long before movies, or tv, or the net.
Here are are finding it very ironic that the Israeli professor, who gave his life to protect his students, himself a Holocaust survivor, died on Holocaust Memorial Day.

It was horrific. I just can't stop thinking about all the families affected. I just keep praying for them and try not to watch the news.
