I just got an awesome TV/Home-theater system and just wondering if anyone else is a geek like me.... the TV is 65 in Projection 1080P HDMI HD compatble....

and I got a decent surround sound system as well...

Planning on getting a Media Computer for the TV with Wireless keyborad and mouse also want to get a Wii and a PlayStation 3 the Wii will come first because it is so awesome to play...

I also need to take my cable box in and swap it for HD instead of Digital... they do that for free it is a one for one swap...

fun toys!

Sounds awesome. I don't consider myself a geek since I'm not into all the technical specification, however I drool over nice home theater and entertainment systems.

My house isn't set up to accomodate a big screen TV and a good home theater system would be wasted because there isn't enough room to separate the speakers....however I do have a compact home theater system and I love it. My TV is about 20 years old and still going strong, so there is a disconnect in the picture quality vs the sound, but when it is time to replace it I look forward to having the picture and sound quality more in sync.

My friend has a big screen HDTV and the picture is awesome. I'm sure you will see the difference after you swap digital for HD.

Have fun with your toys. :smiliewav

I'm a tech geek! I bought a new HDTV back in November and LOVE it! As a friend once told me, what is it that you do pretty much every day?

But yeah, I love all the little gadgets and whatnot. I am wanting to get the new AppleTV. That is pretty sweet! I like being able to download my tv shows onto my iPod and then being able to watch it on my TV.

Once you swap your box in for the HD one, you will love it. The picture is incredible.

even with the Digital cable it is pretty amazing, I am really enjoying it, When your primary entertainment is watching movies at home then it is money well spent, unfortunaltly with my new house all of a sudden my cable rebooted last night, I got home ate because I went to class and then out with friends... figured I would flip on th etv and the news, we the cable box reset then rebooted which was really annoying, now my cable modem and cale is not behaving will have to call today about that ugh

DVD's are awesome I just can't wait to get me pc and blu-ray drive to record stuff off my DVR and to play Blu-ray movies which are in 1080P format! and digital pictures WOW my dvd player does a slideshow so you cna just play all of your photos on the screen and the visual is awesome!...

I am just really enjoying my new home, went a got paint samples at Lowes on saturday still trying to decide which color...

I need tools so badly, I mean screw drivers, pliers and a hammer had to borrow everything so far...the things you take for granted....

I have been pondering getting a Wii recently. My friend was talking about having played baseball and bowling on it and it just sounded so neat. Might be an investment in my future!
