Have you ever had times of desperation to the point where you said "I need a miracle"? Most of us have. I'm here to share with you that miracles are real. They are a gift from God and a reward for faith.
10 days ago my Urologist informed me that my ultrasound came back with a large mass that appeared to be cancer in my left kidney. I immediately prayed for God's will to be done in my life.
Miracles have happened in my life before. Through, prayer, faith and the will of God I knew I could be healed. So I requested prayers from everyone. My wonderful family came to my home and did an anointing with oil and laying of hands. At times I would feel my faith being challenged, so I would pray and ask others to pray to God for my faith to be restored. My Sister's emailed me scriptures that gave me immediate strength. This is one of my favorites:
DEUTERONOMY 31:8: The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
I reached out to God everyday and I could feel the prayers being said for me. I received confirmation from God everyday through an appreciation for life that I had never known before. I found beauty in a blade of grass. I found myself crying deep inside at the sight of a homeless man. I found unlimited love flowing from my husbands heart. I found serenity in a sweet evening breeze blowing in my kitchen window. There is so much in life every single day that we take for granted.
Yesterday I got the results of my catscan. My Doctor said "Cindy, You're fine!" I have a completely healthy kidney. No cancer. He told me "I thought we were headed down a different road". All I could say is "Thank You" and "Praise the Lord".
My lesson from this miracle experience is APPRECIATION FOR LIFE.
My promise to God in this experience is that I will testament his miracles in my life.
