Slip Covers?

Hey Ladies,

I want to slip cover my sofa's. And Idea of how to do this cheaply. My sofa's are large and the slip covers in the stores do not fit.

I usually cover my sofa with queen/king sized sheets. No sewing and inexpensive. :o

Do you have to do anything special... tack the ends or anything?

No, I don't tack or anything like that. I just tuck, tuck, tuck. I use 2 queen/king sheets on the sofa. I take the sofa cushions off and lay the sheet down, then put the cushions back and cover them with another sheet, and TUCK, ADJUST, TUCK!!!! *penguin*

A Double sized bedspread might be a possibility depending on how large your sofas are & can be cheaper than the slipcovers. You can also buy material & do it yourself.

I thought of this too...but when you sit on it,does it all pull out and look messed up? I am thinking about sewing .They make patterns for this. Just don't know if I am brave enough to tackle that.
