As I log on, I always check to see who else is here. I noticed today that there were 75 people on, 1 member (that would be me) and 74 guests.
As a "closet lurker" on the HS site for 2 months before registering, I understand the reluctance to bite the bullet and join up. I understand that some don't know what they will be getting into if they do join.

For all those women who are reading the posts and not registering.... please register and contribute your thoughts to this wonderful group of women.
This website, and it's sister website, has been a unending supply of caring supportive women for me. They provide encouragement, support, a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold, a cyber-hug, and all around good conversation. They help get through tought times, help you raise your children (two legged or four legged), provide hints and help with those household problems, will always listen to your troubles, point you in the right direction for hobby ideas, and help you get dinner on the table.

So, take the plunge....register and have a chat with us!

Hope to chat with you soon,
Autumn

There are some places that require registration, or at least limit access to more personal threads to only those who are registered.

I think it's a good thing.

I'd like to think I'm sharing here with people who have some kind of commitment.

It's a good question, and I've wondered it myself when I've seen that there are others reading the same post I am.

It's free, easy and (I'm sorry to say) addictive if you are a talker. It's great to be able to share conversations thru threads with others.

Now that doesn't mean we always agree and personally I think those are some of the most informative threads where you get to read other people's views and learn a new way to look at things.
