I live in NE Washington State and today we have had a steady dose of rain today. The rain here is needed due to all of our wildfires.

DH is a volunteer fireman and has been out on the firelines for the last couple of weeks. The rain has been a bonus to helping our fireman.

The weather here in Rhode Island was beautiful today. It started out in the 50's and warmed up to the low 70's, with a steady breeze. There was the feeling of Autumn in the air this morning - I love it.

The next few days will be the same, but hotter weather will start arriving Wednesday, and Friday promises temperatures around 90.

I live in southeast Texas and it's still HOT!!
Today was a little better - it only got to the mid 90's ( it's been hitting over 100 for awhile ).The only thing that has saved us a little this summer is the rain that we've gotten. We've gotten a lot and there's more coming. I just hope that we're spared Hurricane Dean this week :o

I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, 1/2 mile from Lake Superior. The whole summer has been dry with temps in the 80's for hights and 50's for lows.

Today we are getting bad thunderstorms some areas are reporting hail. We are getting a steady shower and the thunder and lightening seems to have passed.

I haven't mowed the lawn since the end of June b/c it's burnt to a crisp. Maybe this weather will help green up the yard.

It is beautiful here in SE Texas. The sun is shining, it is warm, but not hot. It is absolutely a beautiful day. :)

This morning started out with a temperature of only 48 degrees, warming up to 67 this afternoon. Right now, it's 47 degrees , and will be closer to 40 by morning. This is my favorite time of the year with cool crisp mornings and warm, but not hot, afternoons.

Because of the cooler nighttime temperatures, we are seeing a little bit of color in some of the trees. In a month or so I'll be snapping photos of the Fall foliage. I love everything about this time of the year; the temperatures, apples, cider and pumpkins ( as in pumpkin bread, pumpkin cookies,pumpkin muffins....mmmm.......)

The weather today was perfect. Clear blue skies for the afternoon while the morning had light cloud cover. Mild temps (for us!) getting to about 89 degrees.

In central OKlahoma, it was a beautiful sunny day, about 85 degrees and for once, the wind is not blowing. The rest of the week looks the same but on Sunday it is supposed to be in the 60's. I am sooooo ready for fall.

There is a coolness in the air. I love the fall temperatures. Its still warm but the added cool evenings are great. Now that October is here, I need to get that Halloween candy for the kiddies. Do you think they will like chocolate covered green beans? I have a whole garden full.

Its raining here. A regular gully-washer. The weather forecast said that we are finally going to get some fall-like weather, below 90. I'm looking forward to that. I'm ready to put my sandals away until next spring and ready to get out the sleeves shirts.

The mums are blooming in the garden and they are looking gorgeous along with the encore azaleas. (Have ya'll seen these plants? THey bloom more than once a year!)

It's 30 degrees outside right now. I've already been out in the car this a.m., but before I could leave I had to scrape the ice off the car windows for the first time this season. The cold weather has finally arrived. I'm not fond of the cold, but I like it better than the sweltering 90 degree temperatures that Summer brings.

Our cool front finally blew in! It was chilly this morning, not sure the temp, but I had to wear a jacket. During the day, long sleeves were good, did not need a jacket. I think we are suppose to be back in the 80's this weekend. :( I want some long term cool weather! :stomp:

Goodness. It was in the 80's today here in Texas. I keep expecting cooler weather but it hasn't shown up yet to stay. We've heard that Wednesday is supposed to be cold.

Our weather has been seasonable. Most mornings I have to scrape the frost from the windshield of the car. But temperatures will be moderating this week, with Thanksgiving expected to be close to 60 degrees.
