Princess Diana was a great woman, because she proved it's possible to grow from a silly flibertigibett (without any O-levels, even) who was raised as a brood mare to be married off to a mature woman with ideas and passions of her own.

I'll never forget her holding that AIDS baby.


I think there were people that wanted her dead, both within the royal family, and within a certain commerical sector.

Royals have been the subjects of plots before. Why is that so hard to believe in the 20th-21st centuries.
