I thought it would be a great idea to have one thread to post questions about various products. Sometimes I see products at the grocery store or in commercials and wonder if it really works or is as good as it seems.

Let's talk about unique, odd products here. :hi5:

Has anyone tried those DISPOSABLE TOILET BRUSHES? Do they work well or not worth the trouble?

We use the disposable toilet bowl brushes at work and here at home. I love them. You can use them and then flick the button and toss them in the trash. No mess and you dont have to buy toilet bowler cleaner as the cleaner is on the brush. :)

the dawn with the air freshner in the bottom. I have seen coupons in the paper today. I was wondering how it works and is the price reasonable.

I'd like to know about that too, Poppie. I saw those coupons and wondered about giving them a try.

The one that looks odd to me are the Glade air fresheners that look like a candle but aren't. How do those work?!

I just opened my bottle of Dawn with the air freshner attached to the bottom of it. I only bought it because I had a coupon. The air freshner is not very strong but hubby kept asking me what smelled so good by the sink. He liked the idea of it. No big deal to me but I do love Dawn as a dish washing liguid.

Has anyone tried the new Glad Steaming Bags? I used them for the first time this week and so far, I love them. I cooked brocolli and carrots (separate bags) and they were cooked just perfectly.

All you have to do is open the bag, put the brocolli in, zip it closed, and put it in the microwave oven for 3 minutes or so (it tellsl you the cooking time for each veggie on the bag itself) and when it's done you have a great tasting veggie. The steam vents are on each side and you have to be careful when opening it that you don't get burned by the steam, but that's true of anything cooked in the microwave.

The best part, no pan to wash.

Here's another thing I like about it. I can't use salt or butter in my diet, and because the veggies aren't cooked in water, they taste great with no seasoning at all. You can visit the GLAD website for recipes and a demonstration video.

I will have to look for the Glad steam bags, I have not seen or heard of them. I did buy the Dawn with the airfreshner, I haven't used it yet :( , waiting to finish the other bottle that I have. I also bought the new globe candle that looks like a light and I am very eager to see how it works, I paid $9.99 for it more than I normally would. I felt that with my little grandson running around in his walker and starting to reach and pull everything off that he can that it would be safer than if it was a burning candle . :) We do put things where he can't grab them, but sometimes they surprise us  .
