I caught part of a commercial last night about a bank credit card that rounds up your purchase to the nearest dollar and puts the change into your savings account.

I guess if you use your credit card alot, it would put a few dollars each day into your savings account.

Its a good idea, I think, but makes me uncomfortable if you don't pay off the card at the end of the month (using it as a credit card instead of debit).

You could be financing your savings account if you don't pay it off...

Does anyone use this kind of bank card?

We used to use Bank of America's "Keep the Change" program. Since it was done with the debit card, there was no risk involved. It was a nice plan and we accumulated a fair amount in the time we used it, but then we moved up north and there werent any BoA branches, so we switched banks. I've never heard of doing it with a credit card though.
