Declutter my life....and start with my closets!!! I am doing multiple closets at once! I do think that my life will be a little less stressful when all the "cleaning" out will be finished. I am trying to separate out the clothing/shoes for Charities and the rest for EBAY. It actually has been good therapy to work through all the "closet"(s) and issues. All the old pictures to organize, the Grandmother items that have been packed away for years and all the other hidden goodies that I have found! I am really going to enjoy this challenge!! :-) :queen:

Good luck! Decluttering is always a good thing! I've been working on the bedroom closet, but my next one is the closet in my study. That will take me awhile as that is where all my memories are stored, lots of pictures and other mementos to look thru. :)

Very inspiring! Yes, I agree, its quite good therapy. Once the task begins, its very satisfying to work on the cleanout and then the reorganizing of the closet to put things back where they belong. Congrats! Keep us posted on how it is going.

I've been working hard to get rid of tons of clutter, from many closets in my house. Why do we gather all this stuff in the first place.

I would be happy if I could just keep my kitchen pantry under control. All of those little boxes (which hold the 100-calorie packs, the granola bars, etc.) multiply just like wire coat hangers!!! ;)

My current goal is to bring in less than I throw out for a while. I keep having to remind myself that if I do it small increments, it's more likely to "stick" by just maintaining what I've already done PLUS a little more, rather than my old habit of purging "everything" and then feeling *done* for six months while all the junk accumulates again.

I found keeping loose packs of stuff in plastic shoe boxes a good way to keep my pantry organized. I can stack them can tell if they are granola bars or intant cocoa, etc pretty easily.

Take care

Goodness! I'm inspired! I was wondering if anyone has tried those plastic sacks that suck the air out of them for storing clothes and bedding in the off season?
