WOW 8 inches!!! We did get a blizzard last Wed but it has been so mild since that most of the snow is gone. It feels more like spring here than winter. Yesterday it musta been at least 10 C. I had an Aunt that lived in Northern BC...Fort Nelson is where she lived.

We lived in Fort Nelson for one year to the day!! We arent that far north anymore...but would love to try the Yukon. Are you in a city in NS? We live near a small town, not really a city gal myself....
Nice chatting

I am about an hour and a half from Halifax.. so no I am not in a city. I used to live in a city when I lived in Ontario and as much as I loved it... I perfer raising my daughter in the country.
My aunt and uncle were in Fort Nelson for a few years, and I think they are there now. He had retired and they moved back between here/and Arizona for winter months......but they got asked to go back to FN for a time to work.

I'm located in Hamilton, Ontario right now but grew was born in Nfld, parents are from PEI, brought up in NS. Mom and older brothers (and families) are all in and around Halifax.
Looks like Canada is going to be well represented here... coast to coast :)

I'm a transplanted Maritimer and lived from coast to coast - NF, BC, ON, PEI, NS and AB. My roots have settled into Ontario pretty well now.

I'm not from Canada, but Canada, esp. Toronto has a very special place in my heart.
Were it not for Sick Kids, I wouldn't be walking - they did surgery on my leg that couldn't even be done in the USA (were I was then living) at the time.
