I love cats. They are so funny and have such attitudes. I have a few quotes about cats that I love and I think are funny. I thought I'd share with you all.

My husband said it was him or the cat....I miss him sometimes.~Anon

Dogs believe they are human. Cats believe they are God.~Anon

Thousands of years ago cats were worshiped as gods. Cats have never forgotten this.~Anon

People who hate cats, will come back as mice in their next life.~ Faith Resnick

Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.~Anon

Cat's motto: No matter what you've done wrong, always try to make it look like the dog did it.~Anon

Hope this brings a chuckle to you today. Does anyone else have any funny cat quotes? Please share them! :sillycat:

I have two funny stories about my cat...

In my first house I had a bay window made up up 3 normal size windows side by side. One night we were sitting in the breakfast nook and my cat decided he had enough of the window he was sitting in and wanted to go to the other one. Since they weren't the typical bay windows there wasn't a sill he could walk on to move from window to window.

My cat was not the most agile or graceful kitty...and not the brightest either. When trying to navigate from window to window he wouldn't make it and need to jump to the floor. He was persistent Instead of jumping up into the window he wanted to be in, he jumped back from where he started only to fall again. After the third fall (he didn't get hurt any of the times he fell), I scooped him up off the floor and put him in the next window where he stayed.

The second story is from not long after I first got him. Seems like he decide the chair was his and the sofa was mine. Before I understood this rule, I sat in the chair to do some reading. Next thing I know the cat is jumping up from behind and swatting me on the back of the head. This wasn't normal so I got up to go to the back of the chair and see what was going on. As soon as I did, he jumped on the chair and proceeded to lay down while giving me the evil eye for being in his spot.

:signlol: Thank you for sharing that!
How funny! Cats crack me up. They have such surly attitudes lol. Our male cat, Socks, was my husband's grandmother's and we took him in when she died. He howled the whole 3 hr drive home. He has that Siamese whiny meow. He has the evil eye about him too and likes to hide and jump out at you in the dark hallway. That always freaks me out! :grr:
My husband calls our sweet, white kitty Angel, Bobblehead. She bobs her head up and down and slinks on her belly when we let her out. She's agoraphobic and only ventures outside once in a blue moon.
We had a little tom cat kitten, about a 11 weeks old and it was sleeping with my husband and me and I was startled awake by my husband screaming like a little girl and the kitty had bitten him on the nipple!!! He was hungry! Looked like fair game to him. I laughed till I cried and my hubby was sooo mad at us.

I love cat stories!

We have a large tom cat who thinks he's light and agile. I remember the first time he feel off of the window sill. I laughed until I cried. He still does it and every time he does he looks around surprise like "how did that happen? who pushed me?" He's also fallen off the top of the cat condo too. He was rolling around and fuwhump, off he went. He never gets hurt, except his pride and the other two give him funny looks.

I love cats...as long as they're someone else's. ;) My husband is very allergic to cats, so we can't have them.

However, it's absolutely impossible for me to resist picking up a kitten. What is it about those little creatures??? I wish I knew.

Thanks for sharing all! I don't know Ginger...they have such irresistible charm, and they look so innocent. Looks are deceiving ;)
Angel is such a clutz. There's no sneaking around for her. I shudder when she leaps from the couch to the chair because she NEVER makes it! She almost makes it to the arm of the chair but not quiet. You would think after 100s of tries she would give up.
I have a life size ceramic cat in front of our TV and when we first brought Socks home he had to case the joint. Well, he came across the ceramic kitty and jumped straight up in the air with his tail all fluffed out. He sat there for over an hour waiting for it to move. He sniffed and swatted then finally gave up. He still has to sniff it out whenever he walks through the living room. He's a real doofus. :sillycat:
I'm loving the cat stories!! Keep em coming if you have any :D
Have a great day all!!
