Amazing Race - Begins Nov 4

THe Amazing Race started tonight! Some very odd couples! The first leg takes them to Ireland.

It always takes me a few weeks to get to know the couples racing so I don't have a favorite yet.

My favorite part about this show? I love to see the different countries and the different cultures, customs and scenery without leaving home! (Although I love to travel, I don't get to go often. )

I love the Amazing Race! It is by far my favorite reality show! It's probably the only one I'd ever do but there's no way anyone will ever get me bungee jumping off of anything! LOL!
I hate that I missed it! I'll have to remind myself to watch it next week!

It seems that the season won't be as long as normal. THey have eliminated the "non-elimination" legs so that at the end of every episode, a team will be sent home. Unless the report I read was inaccurate, it will go by quicker.

I am kinda glad they are getting rid of the non-elimination legs. In the past some of my non-favorite teams would get through with a non-elimination leg while my favorites were sent home on an elimination. THis makes it so much fairer, I think!

I love the Amazing Race too. Odd couples this time around. Odder than normal, IMO. One couple can't talk to each other without yelling. I had to turn down the volume as I can't stand to hear people yell.

I am glad they have gotten rid of non-elim-episodes but I don't want the season to end early!

Its on! Can't wait to see where "we" are going tonight and what the culture is like. Stay tuned for a great episode!

Amsterdam is tonight's first goal. They are going through Dublin and getting another flight. Only half the teams can get tickets to Amsterdam. I love the airport scenes. Some of the teams go to the ticket counters. Some borrow cell phones and call in. One team got to the airport late because of a flat tire. You just never know what will happen to delay a team. Its always a surprise.

Off to Amsterdam.

The pole jumping over the canal was an interesting challenge along with the bicycle hunting in that bike parking lot. That was an incredible sight to me. Lots of bicycles.

I missed last weeks episode, thanks for the update on what happened. It was Monday when all of sudden it dawned on me that we missed an episode....need to get the DVR set for auto taping.

I thought that the Grandpa and Grandson were hilarious at the ditch vaulting. At least they seem to be enjoying it! I am enjoying this season so far. It seems very interesting.

Do you have any favorites so far? I don't. I don't like the dad/daughter combination. I like her, can't stand him.

They are very awkward. I like the brother and sister because I think they are smart. They called for taxis and stopped at the inn to buy tickets. But no real favorite yet. This is really a different season.
