I am not in the habit or making a New Year Resolution. I never seem to keep them past a week or two.
But, I will continue to make good choices for the foods that I choose to eat, and also use moderation and good judgement in portion sizes. I will also continue to use my treadmill on a regular basis when the weather doesn't permit me to walk/run outdoors.

In February 2007 I had a friend introduce me to Isagenix. I did very well and then went on vacation, well that was the end of the dieting.

Since then I have been still using the products (not faithfully) and plan on getting back on track. The difference I felt eating healthier, and the weight I had lost was great.

I know it is something 'everyone' says I will lose weight, work out more, etc. But this one worked for me last year and hope to continue this year. Currently I am a 16/18 and would like to be a 12 by August, little unrealistic but that is my goal.

I am a postive person and do strive to continue with that each year. Some days (at work) it is tough but I continue through the day and try to spread a positive attitude.

Yes, I am a person that once I have my mind made up there is no going back. I am so mad with myself for gaining this weight. I feel short of breathe and bending oh my. I have a bad back and this is not good for it I know. I eat out of emotions. So, need to watch it. I realize that I am getting older and I need to feed my body with good food for fuel and take care of it also by going to the gym. Well, I did lose weight years ago and even stayed on track with the holidays. It can be done.

My main resolution is to get organized with my mail clutter. I have piles and piles...some needs to be trashed, some shredded, and some kept in files. My in-laws got us a filing cabinet for Christmas, so I have no excuses. Another is to take my vitamins daily and to try a new recipe once a week. Last year I commited to NO soft drinks and have not had one all year, so I may continue that. I also wanted to lose some weight. I got a late start, but since October I have lost 15 pounds through Weight Watchers...so I will continue that as well.

I am not one for resolutions since I never seem to keep them :(

For me, January means a change in my routines due to a change in commitments, and this year it also means the start of a new project at work which means even more changes to my routines. As a result I'm looking at this as an opportunity to develop a schedule and get back to a set of routines that allows me to have a good work/life balance.

That sounds very generic but when I had control of my schedule (at home and work) things seemed to fall into place and I was exercising, eating healthier, losing weight and not being exhausted all the time.

Another resolution is to modify my budget based on a recent home purchase. Now that I have a few months of expenses for the new home under my belt and am reaching the end of my "new home purchase" budget adjustments, I need to adjust it for an ongoing basis. I guess that really isn't a New Year's Resolution, the timing just hit for January ;)
