Good TV recommendations?

Anyone heard about new, good shows in 2008? I can’t stand the break in new television for too much longer and it seems that every show these days is either too trashy or too similar to every other reality competition show!

I wonder if some of the "new" shows may be delayed due to the writers' strike. I haven't heard much about new shows. I do know that I am getting burnt out on reality shows, but am looking forward to the new season of American Idol.

When there's nothing on network TV, I go to TLC and HGTV. Or look for a good movie on AMC or TMC.

I'm with you on the trashy stuff. I can't believe what they show and say on TV these days!

It's time to pick up some movies at Blockbuster.

TV has been slim pickings the last few years either trashy as you have all said or reality shows which start getting old when the participants start playing games with their strategies.

Anyway...there is one new show from this fall that I like. It is the Woman's Murder Club which is usually on Friday evenings.

And...Law and Order (any of them) are still on my must watch list.

After that I usually watch the Food Network or pull out something I taped and haven't watched yet (I usually have a big back log).

It feels weird to have everything in reruns already but that is what is going on it seems. I have on "Without a Trace" and I've seen it already. How is that possible?

And then the elections and the frenzy of the caucasus sounds like a mob at the malls.

Its a good night for a book!

I am patiently awaitng American Idol. At least that won't be effected by the writers strike.

I watch all the Law & Orders,Extreme homemakeover,er,wwe,Comics unleashed,lifetime movies.Also judge judy and the view.I love watching how clean is your house and clean house.They inspire me to clean.Ever see how nasty those peoples houses are???
