This is a really quick & easy breakfast for a crowd:

Use quart-size freezer ziplock bags & a pot of boiling water. Set out eggs, bacon bits, diced onion, ham bits, diced pepper, mushrooms, shredded cheese, whatever floats your boat for omelet fixings ;)

Each guest marks their name on the bag with a sharpie. Break two eggs into a bag & squish them up. Add fixings as desired. Place in boiling water.

After 13 minutes, the omelet will roll out onto your plate perfectly. Bon appetit!! :bliss:

I am so gonna have to try this one! It sounds so weird! Have you tried it and is it like a normal omelet?

Yes, we have done it several times now... it's really a "neat trick" for breakfast guests :bliss:

I've done it a couple of times. The first time I wasn't really sure if it would be edible :D Not only was it tasty, cleanup was minimal

We do this when we are camping. We add a couple Tbls of milk to the eggs to make it fluffy. The kids add what they like and everyone is happy. Then we use the heated water to do dishes. It is perfect! And the omlette comes out in an exact square. We put a lot of fixings in and I do take the bag out and mix half way through to make sure it is getting done on the inside.
