Hello! I guess it is silly, but I just wanted to know if anyone else out there has a husband who thinks it is aginst the law of the universe to have all the dishes clean? I mean I wash all the dishes, go to bed get up in the am and there in the sink is a bowl and glass! I know this is petty, but it just feels nice to say it. Thank you for listening! :)

I understand what you mean. I like to have my sink empty and wiped dry before I go to bed at night. Just about every mornng I will find a cup, or plate or glass - something. I've learned to just put it in the dishwasher , it's not worth fighting about :) But, still, it is kind of annoying.
I have my husband and daughter against me, we don't have a dishwasher so I get to wake up to dishes every morning. Even if I stay up late and get them all done, I will find a dirty glass on my daughter's computer desk, or one my husband left somewhere....it never ends. I do dishes about 6 times a day but it seems like there is always at least a spoon in the sink.

MY DAD!!!! My mom is always happy for him to get his dishes in the sink!! I have to admit though, I am not very good at doing the dishes when I am at home either!! Now my bf's house (my 2nd home) we both do the dishes. We kind of alternate!!

I agree, and its seems men are not able to dishes as I cannot remember once in the 7 years we have been together that he ever did dishes. They said the curse for women was menstruation, but I say its doing dishes !!! Agree ?

LOL I certainly can relate! I think my dh does it now as a joke. He sets the dish on the counter or in the sink and looks at me with a big grin. Sigh. And than I walk over right behind him and put the dish in the dishwasher. And if he comes home late and I am in bed, I will find the dish in the sink when I get up in the morning. I do say something once in awhile, but I usually just put the dish in the dishwasher. He's a good man, just a little messy sometimes. :D
We don't have a dishwasher, have to do them by hand, my husband helps sometimes, but it is very irregular, he wouldn't want me to "expect" help or anything :D . Of course when he does help it is very interesting, he always leaves some dirty dishes behind...not sure if he is going blind or just has something against the ones he leaves behind....

Dirty dishes is not an issue day to day. I gladly do them. But when i am out of town for a week and return and find a pile of dirty dishes, it is annoying. But i bite my tongue and think of the things he does do for me. He does do alot of other stuff.
