I'm not sure what to do this weekend. Kinda in the mood to just bum around and watch movies/tv, but i'm also in the mood for something spontaneous.
Any ideas?

Well, now, if we gave you any ideas it wouldn't be spontaneous, would it? ;)

not so much for spontaneous -- i get to side tracked anyways --
but some ideas
bowling -- putt putt golf -- picnic lunch --
are you buy yourself or with your partener??
go get a pedicure or manicure, go to the zoo,
my DH and I will jump in the car and just go when we come to an intersection -- we take turns saying right , left or forward and spend and entire day milling the countryside that way -- stopping somewhere along the way for lunch and then sometime midafternoon -- figure out where we are and then drive home --
you see some interesting stuff that way. that you might never see -- sometimes you get caught in a housing development that seems like you can never get out because you are back at the same intersection -- but it is fun and relaxing way to enjoy the day.
(might be a little tougher with gas prices so high -- but it is still fun)

Lately when I try to make plans for the weekend, my DH says let's just wait and see how things go. :( It drives me nuts because we end up doing nothing.

What am I doing this weekend, wish I could clone myself as I have two things to do and can only be at one.
DS has an AFJROTC comp this weekend that I would love to be at. I feel it is important to support the children.
Then I also have a Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday morning conference to attend. This conference is important as it is our state workshop for military volunteers. When DH was deployed 2003-2005 I was very involved. He has since retired after 24 years in the service and his Brigade is ready to deploy again this fall. Now it is time to get the FRGs back up and running. I will be helping out with his old unit and helping out a 'newbie' with her unit.
So, as much as I feel it is important to support my son, it is just as important to support the deployed soldiers and their families.
Luckily fo rme DS is understanding and knows why I have chosen the conference over him. Actually he is suppose to be helping as a volunteer at the conference but had to turn it down because of the competition.
Again, would love to clone myself.

I wish I had more free time this weekend. I'm probably going to stay in and check out that new lifetime movie Wisegal with Alyssa Milano. I was obsessed with her on Who's the Boss :) It's on at 9 Saturday night so I'll probably just watch that and end up crashing on the couch.
I know, I'm boring.

This is gonna be an all me weekend. Weekend here is Friday-Saturday.
I had a good walk in the morning, said what the heck and streaked my hair, met a friend for lunch, had a nap.
Having some very good leftover pasta I had in the freez for dinner, lots of computer time tonight.
Working in the garden tomorrow, going for a workout, and maybe a movie in the late afternoon.

We ended up digging up the yard this weekend to fix the sprinkler system, we had too many heads on one zone so the pressure wasn't what it should be. We just finished about 30 minutes ago. Dh cut the wrong line, than we couldn't find the main controller so it ended up being more work than he thought. But he fixed it. :D I helped by being the gopher and the mud scooper. If mud is truly good for the skin, mine it going to be looking great! :signlol:
Yesterday was spent running errands and doing other yard work. Than we collapsed and relaxed by watching a few movies.
Of course during all this stuff, I also did laundry, vacummed and cooked meals for everyone and for the week. I am exhausted.
