Valentine's Day!!

Valentine's day is coming up!! I was reading in a magazine that this year women should surprise their men. Men are always trying to make the women happy, trying to figure out what their dream is, and this year it should switch!! It makes sense, Valentine's day is not just about women, its about LOVE!!! Men need love too!!

Anyone have any plans for Valentine's day?? :friends2:

I always get my hubby something for Valentine's Day & my list doesn't end there! :signheart I buy something for my mother, my little niece & nephew, & my sister in laws! I think it's fun giving little somethings to loved ones & making the day special! :smooch:

I bought my husband a card. I will make him a nice dinner and we will spend a quiet dinner at home. I've never put much stock in Valentine's Day; a card and some flowers are fine with me. My husband lets me know he loves me all year long, I don't think we need to fight the crowds for a dinner out nor do I need diamonds and jewels just because it's Feb 14th. I did send my MIL a card. :)

I came here thinking about posting something on this. I love Valentine's Day and have mailed cards to all my grown kids and usually buy little somethings for everyone. I struggle with what to do for my dh though.
He does really wonderful things for me without me asking and he doesn't really ask for or want anything in return. Time together is most important. I will also do the nice dinner. I hate going out on holidays. I just wish I could think of something special, as one said a surprise would be so fun.

I don't like to do the traditional gifts/card thing. I like to be creative and come up with a unique gift or something very personal. Anyway, my hubby is always surprised because it's normally something nutty! He loves it though!
