I found that working in a factory you can really get some harsh grime on your leather tennis shoes. When I was out once of the "shoe cleaner" I tried rubbing alcohol & it works amazingly...better than the expensive types. It doesn't take much...so watch amount used & wipe afterwards with a damp cloth.

Thanks for the tip!! That can save a lot of people money and shoes!! I have actually never heard of that, but it definetly would have helped me when I was on drill team and always had to have everything polished!!!

The Mr Clean Magic Erasers work great!!! My daughter had a pair of brand new white shoes on and went and played on freshly cut grass and it worked great.

I've always put a bit of soft scrub on a damp sponge. Keeps them looking white and neat. :)

I think that I'll try the Mr. Clean Eraser on my white clogging shoes :)
