Hello, I'm 33 and single with no children. I've been divorced for about 5 years. My ex and I get along well. We realized we are better friends than lovers.
Unfortunately, I am unemployed at the moment due to some health issues.
However, I enjoy volunteering, reading, scrapbooking, and spoiling my 20 lb cat. I am also actively involved in my church. I enjoy traveling as often as possible to see my nephews (who are growing up too fast) that live out of state.
I'm getting ready for some warmer weather so I can get outside and do some walking. I lost 100 lbs this past yr. and I want to keep active so I can keep it off.
That's some things about me. Hope I didn't bore you too much.

Thanks for the welcome! Just a note, "biggirlnow" refers to the fact that my mom always calls me the baby of the family and I keep telling her I'm grown up. Hence the nickname, I'm a big girl now! :D

My cat (tiger) is just a tabby. He looks (and acts) just like Garfield. As far as the weight loss. When I started I couldn't exercise because I just had major surgery. :( So I just changed the way I ate. I ate smaller portions and fewer desserts. I also switched to diet soda. But I still ate whatever I wanted just in moderation. It took 13 months to lose 100 lbs. but it was worth it. I also found that because I didn't have a specific goal weight in mind that when I got on the scale and I lost weight I was happy and felt successful :) and didn't have to worry about "failing" because I hadn't reached my goal. I just knew I needed to lose weight and I decided to see how much I could lose without putting pressure on picking a number.
