Hi Ladies,
My name is Hope. A little info about myself: I'm 49 (I'll be 50 on April 25!). I have been married for 28 years (in June) to a wonderful man, and have two wonderful sons, ages 23 and 18. I also have a joyful daughter, who just turned sweet 16. I have a fat cat who is also so loveable. I like to read magazines and spend time with my family and cat. I am an Elementary School Teacher and enjoy what I do. I found this site through Hystersisters because I just had a hysterectomy on April 1, 2008. I am really looking forward to being on this site. It looks like it will be a lot of fun and there seems to be a lot of commradie here too. Hope to hear for you all soon!

My mom's birthday was April 25 :)
My anniversary is in June and I love my fat cats :D
My younger daughter is a teacher ( high school).
I love to read and dance.

Hi, I'm new here too, also a hystersister (April 8) and eager to find some new friends while I'm recuperating. My DH and I have been married for 32 years and have two great daughters, 26 and 28, and a son 16. Also a grandson who is 10 months old. I've been a stay-at-home mom since my oldest daughter was born, but have done tons of volunteering at the kid's schools and outside as well. I personally think all teachers should get automatic sainthood. I taught porcelain dollmaking for awhile after the girls got into school and before my son was born, but that was primarily to adults. Now I paint and work with wildlife. I think it will be really fun getting to know the great people on this site. I haven't gotten far past reading a few of the posts that are out there, and I can already see that I could spend hours here.

I am new here I am 33yrs have 4 wonderful daughters 4 silly yet amazing grandchildren and my loving boyfriend and I just celebrated our 2 year anniversary in March we have 2 dogs. Found my way here thorugh Hystersisters also my surgery was 2wks ago today I only have internet access at work so most of the time I am just watching what is going while I am trying to work glad to be here hoping to make some friends
