I just found out that my gynocologist is not longer with my insurance. :( I do not do well with change. I have an appointment with a new doctor...I dont have a choice, but come on...! GRR! It makes me realize how much you don't really appreciate it until its gone. I know it sounds funny, shes just a doctor, many more like her out there. But not really. I have problems, she knows them, shes operated on me, I trust her. It just really upsets me and frustrates me! Then to make matters worse today.. I find out that the medication I am on.. Tri Nessa is recalled and I have to find a new one!!! THANKS!!! Sorry just venting! Just think next time at the doctor...this doctor knows you (hopefully) so be happy!!!

That's frustrating. Especially for a gynecologist. You don't like to change them. I had mine for 27 years. He retired last year. Have to find somebody else too.

Jess, sorry to hear that. :( I think my doctor just switched to being a gyno and not a ob-gyn anymore. Luckily I don't need the OB part for a long time. So I can keep her for a while. Which reminds me, I need to see if she is on my new insurance plan! Thanks for the reminder. :) I hope that you like the new doctor though.

Jessica, It is really hard to change doctors. I don't like to do it, but sometimes, unfortunately, we have to. I've been thru many many doctors, and luckily have found some good ones. I am currently on the lookout for a new gyn. I had been seeing mine for quite a few years now, but feel that he is not the best doc for me any longer.

Good luck on your search for a new doc. Ask your friends, family, etc for recommendations. Can you call your old doc and ask him for a recommendation? I've found a few of my docs thru recommendations from other doctors.
