Have you read the different Parables in the Bible? If so what is your favorite one?
I love many of the Parables in the Bible that Jesus told. All of them have a great reasoning and impact behind them. IMO, after all they are told by the greatest teacher I know.
OK, you waited long enough, my favorite Parables are the lost sheep, the mustard seed and the sower.

My very favorite of all the parables is the parable of the sheep and the goats found in Matt. 25:31-46.
I love the picture of God here and how He shows us that He is looking for a faith that puts action behind what we believe. If we believe in Him and still can turn our backs on those in need there is something wrong and God says it could cost us our place in His Kingdom.
I want to be clear here. We are saved by grace, through faith and not by works. In this parable Jesus let us know that our faith should show in how we act.
This parable inspires me to think about how I treat others and what I will say some day when I stand before the Lord and have to give an account for my choices.
I absolutely love Keith Green's song on this parable. If you haven't heard it it is awesome, brings tears to my eyes.
That reminds me that my second favorite parable is the prodigal son. I have a prodigal myself and always weep when I read this one. God is just like that Father who rejoiced when he saw his son coming down the road, coming home at last. He is waiting and watching to welcome us home.

Mine is of the prodigal son. What a lesson for us.
