Has anyone taken the real age test that they've shown on Oprah before? What did you think of the results? If you are interested in taking the test, you can go to http://www.realage.com

Wow... It said I was younger by 3.6 years!!

I'd done it before and was older by 3.4 years. I redid it and, thanks to healthier habits and to DH quitting smoking, the difference is only 2.1 years older. That's pretty good, considering most of the things against me are hereditary!!!

Hey,

This is pretty cool! I am 1.7 years older, but that is easily corrected. Thank you for the link!!

Last time I did this type of test I was about 10 years older. This time I am -.01 off my real age. :D I just started back to the gym in January and have been working on eating healthier so I don't think it is accurate for right now but is a sign of where I am heading.

I knew that dancing was fun - and it's keeping me young :D

Very cool everyone! I think it's a great test to take to see how old your body is. :) And it's cool that it shows you how to help you lower you age. Mine said I was younger by 4.6 years. Yippee!

Keep on clogging, clogaholic! :D

Although I am only 54 years old my real age is 59.3. Not too good. I need to start exercising. I spend too much time watching TV and at the computer.

I'm 1.0 year younger! Not bad. Let's see if I can get it even lower by doing some of the things in the plan.
Interesting. Thanks for sharing!

4.6 younger! I'll take that! Guess there still are a few things I could improve though.

:duh: Time to change my life style!!! According to that test I have one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel. Real eye opener!! It is hard to exercise when you are in alot of pain,or maybe that is just an excuse  .

Wow - I love it. Calendar age 43.5 - real age 37.7

That's enough to make me feel really good. I love the fact that they give you ideas on what you can do to improve.

Thanks for the link Kate!

I just took it and I'm waiting for the results. At one point it said I'm a couple of yrs older than I am (51). I thought I was doing good with my walking! I wonder how long before they email the results....

Thanks for the link Kate!

I had done this several years ago and my old results were -0.9 years. Now, my results are +0.3. Not bad! Since I did this before I have been diagnosed with high blood pressure, but apparently I'm doing enough right to be doing okay!

I just got my real age back. It's 51.3 and I'm actually 51.10, so I'm less disappointed than I was at first. Now I have to get to work and figure out what changes I'm willing to make  that will not impair my enjoyment of life and decrease my risk!

After you fill everything out, it will show on your browser your age. It takes a couple seconds though. It askes you to fill out people that you'd like to have take the test and then if you wait, it shows you everything. :) But when it got emailed to me, it took a while. It wasn't as fast as I thought!

I was "younger" until the last page -- I ended up about 2 years older. :(

Angelbabe1UK,

It was at least overnight before my results showed up. I did the same thing, though, kept hitting my send/receive thinking it would be there in seconds.

Ok I just found out that my real age is 49. In actuality I'm 51.3. I'm excited because I think I can talk my husband into another surprise 50th party. The first one was one of the best parties I've ever had. If start exercising maybe I can get an annual 50th party. Is that a challenge or a goal?

I'm 29 and it said I was 37. My husband is 40 and I've always liked the idea of being younger than him. I guess according to my "real" age I'm not that much younger. I don't think I'll tell him that.

Well that was funny to see it suggest to me that I am about 7 years younger than I really am. Awesome. Now I'm guessing if I was a bit more healthy it would be even less. I guess I'll have to do it again in 3 months and see what it says.

Thanks for posting that, I saw it on Oprah but never tried it.

In my quest to seek a "silver lining in every cloud" I can state the following:

For being (theoretically, according to the "test") many years older than my birth certificate indicates, I think I look pretty darn good! ;)

Yikes, it says I'm 1.7 years older - mainly since my husband smokes. I am working on him to take it outside. I already have him banned from 2 of our 4 floor backsplit.

There were some other things that I can change as well - so I will. Like exercise - :situps: :bicycle:  :weightlif

Whoa, I am 53 and it said 29. DH says he's sleeping with someone younger than his daughter!
That doesn't seem right. Did it have your correct age and then a minus next to it? Cause my didn't have the right age in the box?
I do live a pretty clean life though?

It says I'm 1.5 years younger. My main issues are lack of exercise and apparently I should be taking vitamin suppliments.

I think you're as old as you feel though and I feel 5-10 years younger than I am :)
