Beware Of Pumping Gas!!

Just wanted to warn all out there; that during these winter months while you are pumping gas & deciding to wait in your car! Watch out if you have to step over gas hose to get back in; yes, I tripped, tried to break a fall to the ground, but I instead broke my foot!!! Never had broken a bone before....it did bring laughs to the ER & my ortho MD. None have ever hear of someone breaking a bone "pumping gas"! I am healed now & I deliberately go to same pump# to fill up. It is a personal thing with me and that pump now! :p

LOL! Thats a good one. I have tripped before, but no broken bones! I am so glad to hear that you ok!! I guess it is true that you learn the hard way to pay attention to little things!! I will definetly be a little more careful next time I fill up!!

Owie! I can't imagine how bad that hurt. I'm sure ER and your Ortho doct couldn't help but laugh. It's not funny at the time, but glad that you are good now.

One time, my brother forgot to take the pump out of the car before he drove off. Luckily when the gas nozzle flew out of the car it didn't hit anyone. I didn't think it was funny at the time because the manager of the gas station came running outside and yelling and just thinking of what damage he could have done. Plus, he was being so irresponsible about it (he was MAYBE 17), but now I think it's funny!
