Can you believe gas is under 4 dollars a gallon in San Diego! $3.97 a gallon is the average. Ok so I know its an average, but heck that means in some places its well under 3.97 Which means that the exchange should be priced good and I need to get gas for my truck. Now I just wish diesel would go back down.

Are the prices going down in your area?

Anyone know why the gas prices are higher on the west coast than the east coast. I also notice that they are higher in Ill. and Indiana.

Our gas is going down, but isn't that cheap. I paid $3.69 last night.

Take care

Woohoo! $3.32 this morning. I heard on the radio this afternoon that Houston has the cheapest gas in Texas. I hope the rest of the nation sees the downward trend soon.

<sidenote> I remember way back in the 80's when I was working for a distributor company in Milwaukee, WI. We had trucks that went all over the USA. I used to check their trips sheets, which included their fuel receipts and was always amazed that they were paying so much less for gas in Texas. I don't think it has been like that recently, but it appears that now we are the first to go low. I wonder why it was, than wasn't, and now is again. <hope that makes sense ;) >

WOW 3.32!!! It does seem strange that gas in Texas would be higher though. I'm glad it has changed for you all. My DH is from Belton(Temple area) so I keep tabs on things that happen in Texas, it's probably going to be my home state when we retire :)

In north Texas we are now seeing 3.31 so I'm heading out to fill'er up early in the morning. Even though I still have plenty of gas. I just want to pump it that "cheap"!
