Everyday we tend to analyze our day based on the bad stuff. Take some time to share your good news with us....

Today, I met with my financial planner to work towards my retirement goals. She's awesome and very encouraging. Today I am one day closer to having my tax return for 2005 completed.

Today I unearthed a paper I thought I had lost.

Share your good news today!

My husband left me a valentine's gift on my school bag - heart-shaped necklace and earrings. He is rarely the romantic type. Then I got to school and have tulips on my desk. These are one of my favorite flowers. There is no card and my classroom door was locked. I am pleasantly puzzled.

My honey surprised me with candy, a yummy chocolate cheesecake ( with Godiva chocolate ) and a book that I've been looking for - all for Valentine's day :bliss:

I found my wallet! I thought I had lost it or that it had been stolen. But no, I somehow put it up with my fingernail polish basket after I had done my nails! Talk about relief. I didn't want to have to call and cancel my stuff. I recently had a credit card number stolen from me, so I was a little on edge.

Whew!

I found out that my problem was actually the medication I was on and not my head! :) OH and that I can make any dessert but not an actual meal!! But who cares...people like desserts better anyway!

My older son is home on Spring Break. It is always good to spend time with him as he will be graduating from college in May and will be moving on to a job.

After waiting for almost five months the equiptment I need to do my job is going to be conected. In a matter of weeks I will be able to do what I enjoy doing instead of warehouse work! I was worried that they were going to stop meter testing and I would have to work in the warehouse forever! :woohoo2:

I was having a terrible week, and then while my sister and I were at Wally World, she found a Fraggle Rock t-shirt. I definitely bought it. It's not the acquisition of something material that made me happy, but rather the feeling of happiness that the Fraggles give me. I was in a much better mood today!

I just recieved tenure at my college! After spending the first two years with a sociopathic boss and and the last three years rebuilding my credibility with the administration. Plus, they're going to use my self-evaluation document as a "how to" for the new faculty. Ain't professional validation wonderful?

My youngest son was selected to attend Boys State this summer. This is the American Legion program where you learn about government and set up a mock government. The Governor usually speaks as well as others in the state government.

He is very interested in government so this will be a great opportunity for him.

I got my bathroom cleaned. It was a major pit, and I have been putting it off for a couple weeks now. I finally just got in there and did the job. My DH will be so happy when he gets home. He has been pestering me for a week to do this.
