Come Monday, I'm going to buy some stock. I have some but I've always watched a few companies with pretend money and now I'm going to jump in with real money.

Anyone else thinking this is a great time to buy in?

Its a scary time to buy in, but I also think it is a good time to buy if you can afford to tie you your money for the long haul.

I made two stock purchases recently thinking the price couldn't go lower and it did. So what did I do, decide to buy some more....and down it went. :(

I don't think I've learned my lesson because on the way home from work I was trying to think how much time it would take to transfer money into my brokerage account so I can buy some more :rolleyes:

My financial guy says that now is a good time because I'm buying more shares.

I do know that most of the "gain" in the market comes right after the turnaround. And if you're in it now (when prices are low) you should be able to take advantage of that turnaround when it happens. So I'd say you're doing the right thing!
