Waiting annoys me.
If I'm meeting someone and they're late... I don't wait more than 10 minutes.
If I'm ready to leave the house and my husband isn't... I give him a few minutes and if he can't get it together... I'm gone.
Everyone knows I don't wait. It's now or never Baby!

I should try to write a parody of "Some of my Favourite Things" with those annoyances.
Right now, before my first cuppa coffee?
Cell phone excuse.
People who use toothpicks in public.

Joggers who jog in the road instead of on the sidewalk.

Joggers who jog in the road instead of on the sidewalk.
It could because of cyclists, who think they are God's gift to humankind because they are being green, who are cycling on the sidewalk instead of the road.

Where I live, the cyclists ride on the side of the road. Most of the roads have sidewalks, but the joggers continue to use the roads. They are a hazard to drivers, especially at night.

Here the cyclists do whatever they feel like.
After the last election, the city even sectioned off part of the sidewalk for them, but they don't care, they go on the part for pedestrians, anyway. :(

One of my my biggest annoynances is people who abuse handicapped parking!

Oh yes! I don't remember what the fine for that is, I don't drive myself, although I would be eligible if i did, but I think it comes to a couple of hundred $.
Only problem is enforcing it, not enough people walking around with their little ticket machines to check.

One of my my biggest annoynances is people who abuse handicapped parking!
I remember a local radio talk show host who felt like you do about this. He printed up flyers with the handicap logo, and underneath it said, "Ignorance is a handicap, but it doesn't entitle you to park in this space". Every time he saw a car parked illegally in a handicap space, he slipped a flyer under the windshield wiper.
Getting back on topic, another thing that annoys me is people who don't use their turn signals.

Couples or groups that stand in the middle of the sidewalk chatting and blocking pedestrian traffic.

I agree with that one Marian
When you have a really good friend and all of a sudden out of no where they stop talking to you and don't bother to tell you why, no matter how many times you contact them they just keep ignoring you......What gives with that??????

How long of a list can I make?
I'll limit myself to three, though lord knows there are dozens!
1. Cell phone use. Anywhere, anytime, but particularly when someone's driving. Ugh!
2. Inserting the word "like" in every sentence. Even adults do this. The English teacher in me just wants to slap all those people!
3. People who blast on their horns when they come to pick somebody up, instead of having either the intelligence or consideration of others to realize that there are things called doorbells that don't wake entire neighborhoods. I'll tie in music so loud on car stereos that my windows shake when they drive by with this one.
I think if I could somehow get rid of these three things, life would seem a lot better.

People on cell phones in stores yelling, can you hear me now, no, how about now?
People on cell phones in the grocery stores blocking aisles, or absentmindlessly driving their shopping carts, reaching in front of you.
People who have long cell phone conversations with someone else while in your presence.

Demands that don't have to do with health.
