Launching grown "children"

There is a funny Matthew McConaughey movie out right now "Failure to Launch" which looks like a great comedy. However I happen to know women that do a great job of raising their children but fail to launch them emotionally....

Do you have tips for these moms?

My best tip/reminder:

We raise children. We launch adults. Your work is done as you've spent 20 years packing their bags with all the values, character traits and love of family. Let them go with your blessings as you pray for them.

Well I launched 8 kids- well mannered and well adjusted and now Im here alone-hubby works out of town-with nothing to do because ALL I did was be the supermom that I needed to be because of having so many kids. I guess you really never dream that they are going to grow up. I tell young mothers now to be careful for what they wish for cuz it might come true. Well its only spilt milk now. Got to move on somehow>>> But I'll never be sorry-that I was all that I could be" in raising them.....
