Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Hopefully 2009 will be a good one.

For me 2008 was challenging and although I think 2009 will be as well. I'm hoping that I have gotten myself into a pattern that can work through those challenges better.

Take care

 Happy New Year JC! :confetti:

The last quarter of 2008 was not a good one for us, due to Hurricane Ike. But we persevered and once the hurricane damage repairs are completed our house will be beautiful. We have worked hard and we all worked together.

May 2009 bring us all many blessings. May all be enriched with love and happiness. Wealth is not always about money, but about the wealth of love and friendship. :)

Happy New Year to everyone! *party* Hope 2009 will be good for us all. Didn't party last night....I don't particularly enjoy New Year's Eve parties, so we had a couple of friends over last night and had a meal of meatballs and spaghetti and played Parcheesi afterwards while the tv was on in the next room so that we wouldn't miss the ball dropping in Times Square. Then it was a toast of pink champagne and our guests left by one o'clock. It was nice, just a few friends and us. No noise, no music, no drinking although my hubby had a beer. Other than that, we drank coffee or cola.

Hurricane Ike kicked us around too. We're still doing repairs on our home and our house on Crystal Beach is completely gone!

But, the new year should be a lot better. We're getting our first grandbaby in March. It's a girl

2008 is gone and I say Good Riddance! It was not a great year for us.. Our neighbor sued us, our stock and 401k went down the tubes and my Grandkids were sick darn near the entire year :(

I am so ready for 2009 and I'm thinking positive in hopes for a fantastic new year :)

Wow, looks like 2008 wasn't a good one for anybody. I had cancer from November 2007 to April 2008. Not a lot of fun, especially during Winter in the gool ol' Midwest. I also got stuck in a high-rent apartment that nearly cleaned out my bank account. Bah! Welcome at last, 2009!
